【摘要】:本翻譯報告的研究對象是當(dāng)代美國著名作家科麥克·麥卡錫的戲劇作品——《日落號列車》。該部劇作,不同于傳統(tǒng)戲劇中的服裝、燈光等元素的大量涉入,本劇人物設(shè)置極其簡單,僅壓縮到兩人,沒有名字,僅以“白人”和“黑人”冠稱,從頭聊到尾。這不僅增加了戲劇舞臺表演的難度,也給翻譯也帶來了難度。戲劇中的對話是體現(xiàn)戲劇靈魂的文本,如何翻譯劇中對話,再現(xiàn)人物性格以及體現(xiàn)原作者深刻的哲學(xué)思想成為本次翻譯實(shí)踐的重難點(diǎn)。本篇報告從非自然敘事學(xué)的理論出發(fā),在譯者行為批評的理論框架上探討戲劇文本中對話翻譯方法和策略。本報告包括五個部分。第一章簡要介紹作者生平及其戲劇的創(chuàng)作并對所選源語言文本進(jìn)行分析。第二章就譯前準(zhǔn)備的過程進(jìn)行了討論,主要包括科麥克·麥卡錫作品的研究綜述和梳理戲劇翻譯理論的相關(guān)研究。第三章介紹了本篇戲劇翻譯實(shí)踐的理論基礎(chǔ),即非自然敘事理論和譯者行為批評理論。第四章通過典型例句分析,討論了戲劇對話翻譯中譯者如何做出選擇和行為,處理非自然敘事現(xiàn)象,再現(xiàn)人物的形象與性格特點(diǎn)。第五章為譯后反思和心得體會,總結(jié)此次翻譯實(shí)踐的主要發(fā)現(xiàn)和不足之處。
[Abstract]:The research object of this translation report is the dramatic work of contemporary American famous writer Compac McCarthy, the Train of Sunset. The play is different from the extensive involvement of clothing, lighting and other elements in the traditional drama. The characters in the play are extremely simple, compressed to two people, without a name, and are called "white" and "black" from the beginning to the end. This not only increases the difficulty of theatrical stage performance, but also brings difficulty to translation. Dialogue in drama is the text of the soul of drama. How to translate the dialogue, reproduce the character of the characters and embody the author's profound philosophical thoughts has become the most difficult point in this translation practice. Based on the theory of unnatural narratology, this paper explores the conversational translation methods and strategies in drama texts within the theoretical framework of the translator's behavioral criticism. The present report consists of five parts. The first chapter briefly introduces the author's life and the creation of his plays and analyzes the selected source language texts. The second chapter discusses the process of pretranslation preparation, mainly including the review of Cormac McCarthy's works and the related research on the theory of drama translation. Chapter three introduces the theoretical basis of the drama translation practice, that is, the unnatural narrative theory and the translator's behavioral criticism theory. Chapter four discusses how the translator makes choices and acts to deal with the unnatural narrative phenomena and reappear the characters' image and character through the analysis of typical examples. Chapter five summarizes the main findings and shortcomings of the translation practice.
