【摘要】： 作為翻譯“文化轉(zhuǎn)向”下的一種理論,勒菲弗爾和巴斯內(nèi)特等人的操控理論對(duì)翻譯研究產(chǎn)生了深遠(yuǎn)的影響。該理論認(rèn)為翻譯是對(duì)原文的一種改寫,而任何改寫,不論其目的為何,都受意識(shí)形態(tài)、詩(shī)學(xué)的操控與影響。 作為西方現(xiàn)代派作品的一種,意識(shí)流小說自產(chǎn)生之后便對(duì)西方文學(xué),乃至西方社會(huì)產(chǎn)生了深遠(yuǎn)的影響。雖然早在二十世紀(jì)初期,英語(yǔ)意識(shí)流小說代表作就已在西方文壇出現(xiàn),但中國(guó)直到二十世紀(jì)八十年代才逐漸出現(xiàn)了對(duì)其較為全面的翻譯。這與當(dāng)時(shí)中國(guó)特殊的意識(shí)形態(tài)、詩(shī)學(xué)不無關(guān)系。而就譯介過來的作品而言,一些方面也受了譯入語(yǔ)意識(shí)形態(tài)、詩(shī)學(xué)的影響。 本文的研究主題是英語(yǔ)意識(shí)流小說的譯介與意識(shí)形態(tài)、詩(shī)學(xué)之間的關(guān)系以及意識(shí)形態(tài)、詩(shī)學(xué)對(duì)英語(yǔ)意識(shí)流小說——喬伊斯的《尤利西斯》和�？思{的《喧嘩與騷動(dòng)》翻譯的影響。理論基礎(chǔ)主要是文化學(xué)派勒菲弗爾和巴斯內(nèi)特等人的操控理論。 本研究共分為七章。 第一章介紹了本研究的研究背景、研究目的與研究意義。 第二章是對(duì)相關(guān)文獻(xiàn)的綜述。首先回顧了對(duì)英語(yǔ)意識(shí)流小說、英語(yǔ)意識(shí)流小說翻譯的研究。其次回顧了對(duì)操控理論的應(yīng)用以及對(duì)操控理論本身的研究。 第三章是對(duì)本研究理論基礎(chǔ)的介紹。主要介紹了操控學(xué)派的形成與發(fā)展、操控理論的主要觀點(diǎn)、操控理論中的三要素,即意識(shí)形態(tài)、詩(shī)學(xué)、贊助人各自的定義以及它們各自對(duì)翻譯的影響。 第四章是本研究的研究設(shè)計(jì),介紹了本研究的研究問題、研究方法、數(shù)據(jù)收集。 第五章、第六章是本研究的主體部分。 第五章討論了英語(yǔ)意識(shí)流小說的譯介與意識(shí)形態(tài)、詩(shī)學(xué)的關(guān)系。首先根據(jù)英語(yǔ)意識(shí)流小說在中國(guó)開始譯介的時(shí)間和一些歷史事件將英語(yǔ)意識(shí)流小說的譯介分為三個(gè)階段。第一階段從二十世紀(jì)三十年代到新中國(guó)成立,第二階段從新中國(guó)成立到二十世紀(jì)七十年代末改革開放政策實(shí)施,第三階段從二十世紀(jì)七十年代末直到現(xiàn)在。其次,分別介紹了英語(yǔ)意識(shí)流小說在三個(gè)階段的譯介。再次,分別分析了三個(gè)階段不同的意識(shí)形態(tài)和詩(shī)學(xué)。最后,討論了各個(gè)階段英語(yǔ)意識(shí)流小說的譯介與意識(shí)形態(tài)、詩(shī)學(xué)的關(guān)系。得出正是由于當(dāng)時(shí)中國(guó)特殊的意識(shí)形態(tài)、詩(shī)學(xué)導(dǎo)致中國(guó)直到二十世紀(jì)八十年代才出現(xiàn)了對(duì)英語(yǔ)意識(shí)流小說較為全面的譯介。 第六章討論了意識(shí)形態(tài)、詩(shī)學(xué)對(duì)英語(yǔ)意識(shí)流小說譯本的影響。首先,通過對(duì)兩個(gè)譯本的研究,分析列舉了受影響的方面。其次分析了意識(shí)形態(tài)、詩(shī)學(xué)是如何影響這些方面的。主要從以下幾個(gè)方面進(jìn)行討論:意識(shí)形態(tài)、詩(shī)學(xué)對(duì)譯者增添注釋的影響;對(duì)增譯策略的影響;對(duì)標(biāo)點(diǎn)符號(hào)使用的影響以及對(duì)譯本語(yǔ)言的影響。得出正是受了譯入語(yǔ)意識(shí)形態(tài)和詩(shī)學(xué)的影響,譯者在翻譯時(shí)力求譯本易讀、符合譯入語(yǔ)詩(shī)學(xué)、讀者的閱讀和審美期待,對(duì)原文在上述方面進(jìn)行了操控。 第七章是本文的結(jié)論并指出了本研究的局限與不足。通過分析與討論,本文得出以下結(jié)論:正是受了譯入語(yǔ)意識(shí)形態(tài)和詩(shī)學(xué)的影響,盡管早在二十世紀(jì)早期意識(shí)流小說就已出現(xiàn)在西方文壇,但中國(guó)直到二十世紀(jì)八十年代才出現(xiàn)了對(duì)其較為全面的譯介;同樣由于受到譯入語(yǔ)意識(shí)形態(tài)和詩(shī)學(xué)的影響,譯者在翻譯時(shí)力求譯本易讀,翻譯時(shí)在一些方面進(jìn)行了操控和改寫,主要表現(xiàn)為對(duì)注釋的使用、對(duì)增譯策略的使用、對(duì)標(biāo)點(diǎn)符號(hào)的使用以及對(duì)較為正式和文學(xué)化語(yǔ)言的使用。
[Abstract]:As a theory under the "cultural turn" of translation, the manipulation theory of Lefebvre and Basnet has a profound influence on translation studies. The theory holds that translation is a rewriting of the original, and any rewriting, regardless of its purpose, is controlled and influenced by ideology and poetics.
As one of the western modernist works, the stream of consciousness novels have had a profound influence on Western literature and even the western society since the emergence of the stream of consciousness novels. Although early in the early twentieth Century, the representative works of the English stream of consciousness novels have appeared in the western literary world, but China has not gradually appeared to it until 1980s. It has nothing to do with the special ideology and Poetics of China at that time. But in terms of the translated works, some aspects are also influenced by the ideology of the translation and the poetics.
The subject of this study is the translation of English stream of consciousness novels and the relationship between ideology, poetics, and ideology, the influence of poetry on English stream of consciousness novels - Joyce's < Ulysses > and Faulkner's "the noise and the fury > translation". The theoretical basis is the manipulation of the culture of poeferf and Basnet. Theory.
This study is divided into seven chapters.
The first chapter introduces the background, purpose and significance of the study.
The second chapter is a review of the related literature. First, it reviews the study of English stream of consciousness novels and English stream of consciousness novel translation. Secondly, it reviews the application of manipulation theory and the study of manipulation theory itself.
The third chapter is an introduction to the theoretical basis of this study. It mainly introduces the formation and development of the manipulative school, the main views of the manipulation theory, and the three elements in the manipulation theory, namely, the definition of ideology, poetics, and their respective influences on the translation.
The fourth chapter is the research design of this study. It introduces the research questions, research methods and data collection of this research.
The fifth chapter, the sixth chapter is the main part of this study.
The fifth chapter discusses the translation of English stream of consciousness novels and the relationship between ideology and poetics. First, the translation and introduction of English consciousness stream novels are divided into three stages according to the time and some historical events that the English stream of consciousness novel began to translate in China. The first stage was established from 1930s to new China, and the second stage was from New China. The reform and opening policy was established at the end of the 1970s, and the third stage was from the end of 1970s to the present. Secondly, it introduced the translation and introduction of the English stream of consciousness novels in three stages. Again, the different ideologies and poetics were analyzed in three stages. Finally, the English stream of consciousness novels at various stages were discussed. The relationship between translation and ideology and poetics is due to the special ideology of China at that time, which led to a more comprehensive translation of the English stream of consciousness novels until 1980s.
The sixth chapter discusses the influence of ideology and Poetics on the translation of the English stream of consciousness. First, through the study of the two translations, the influence is analyzed. Secondly, the analysis of the ideology, how the poetics affects these aspects. The main aspects are discussed in the following aspects: ideology, poetics add annotations to translators. Influence on the translation strategy; the influence on the use of punctuation and the influence on the language of the translation. It is the influence of the ideologies and Poetics of the translators. The translator is manipulated in the above aspects by the translators' readings in translation, in line with the Poetics of the translation, reading and aesthetic expectations of the readers.
The seventh chapter is the conclusion of this paper and points out the limitations and shortcomings of this study. Through the analysis and discussion, this paper draws the following conclusions: it is the influence of the ideology and Poetics of the translation. Although the stream of consciousness novels have appeared in the western literary world as early as the early twentieth Century, China only appeared in 1980s. As a result of a comprehensive translation, the translator, also due to the influence of the ideologies and Poetics of the translation, has been manipulated and rewritten in some aspects, including the use of annotations, the use of the translation strategies, the use of punctuation and the use of more formal and literary languages.
