【摘要】:這是一篇關(guān)于童話作品Fairest的翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告。原書(shū)作者是曾獲得過(guò)紐伯瑞兒童文學(xué)獎(jiǎng)的美國(guó)作家蓋爾?卡森?樂(lè)文(Gail Carson Levine)。該書(shū)圍繞一個(gè)想變漂亮的女孩展開(kāi),講述她魔幻的歷險(xiǎn)經(jīng)歷,目前尚無(wú)中文譯本。筆者節(jié)選Fairest作為翻譯實(shí)踐的原文,是希望通過(guò)自己的翻譯實(shí)踐總結(jié)出兒童文學(xué)特別是童話的翻譯策略,在兒童文學(xué)翻譯領(lǐng)域做出自己的嘗試。不同年齡段的讀者對(duì)文學(xué)作品的訴求各不相同。讀者年齡越小,其特殊性越大。所以兒童文學(xué)翻譯必須考慮兒童讀者的認(rèn)知特點(diǎn),有針對(duì)性地滿足他們特殊的閱讀需求。這一點(diǎn)正好與接受理論的“以讀者為中心”相契合。因此,在翻譯過(guò)程中,筆者以接受理論為指導(dǎo),通過(guò)分析兒童讀者的作用與地位,得出兒童文學(xué)翻譯的兩個(gè)首要原則:可讀性和趣味性。本報(bào)告就是基于筆者自身的翻譯實(shí)踐而做的分析與總結(jié)。報(bào)告正文由五部分組成。第一部分為引言,介紹翻譯背景、目的和意義。第二部分為原文介紹,包括所譯章節(jié)的主要內(nèi)容、翻譯價(jià)值和語(yǔ)言風(fēng)格。第三部分為翻譯過(guò)程介紹,包括譯前準(zhǔn)備、翻譯方法和譯后審校。第四部分為案例分析。筆者以接受理論的“期待視野”和“讀者地位”為指導(dǎo)思想,結(jié)合大量翻譯實(shí)例,從詞匯和句子兩個(gè)層面為兒童文學(xué)翻譯提供具體方法建議。最后一部分是總結(jié),簡(jiǎn)述報(bào)告的主要成果并指出不足之處。
[Abstract]:This is a practical report on the translation of fairy tale work Fairest. The author of the original book was Gail, an American writer who had won the Newberry Children's Literature Award. Carson? Gail Carson Levine. The book revolves around a girl who wants to be beautiful. There is no Chinese translation of her magical adventures. The author extracts Fairest as the original text of translation practice in the hope of summing up the translation strategies of children's literature especially fairy tales through his own translation practice and making his own attempt in the field of children's literature translation. Readers of different ages have different demands for literary works. The younger the reader, the greater the particularity. Therefore, children's literary translation must take into account the cognitive characteristics of children's readers and meet their special reading needs. This coincides with the reader-centered reception theory. Therefore, in the process of translation, the author, guided by reception theory, analyzes the role and status of children's readers, and concludes two primary principles of children's literary translation: readability and interest. This report is based on the author's own translation practice and the analysis and summary. The body of the report consists of five parts. The first part introduces the background, purpose and significance of translation. The second part is the introduction of the original text, including the main content of the translated chapters, translation value and language style. The third part introduces the translation process, including pre-translation preparation, translation methods and post-translation revision. The fourth part is case analysis. With the guidance of the receptive theory of "expectation vision" and "reader's status" and combining with a large number of translation examples, the author provides concrete suggestions for children's literary translation from the lexical and sentence levels. The last part is a summary, briefly describes the main results of the report and points out shortcomings.
