【摘要】：Just so Stories是魯?shù)聛喌隆ぜ妨钟?902年創(chuàng)作的短篇兒童故事集,全書共包含十二個(gè)生動(dòng)有趣的起源故事,是吉卜林為女兒約瑟芬創(chuàng)作的睡前故事,其閱讀對(duì)象是六至十二歲的少年兒童。從1929年張友松將這本兒童讀物翻譯成中文到現(xiàn)在,該書出現(xiàn)的各種編譯本、插圖本、中英雙語本、選譯本、合譯本等超過20余種。本文在翻譯目的論的指導(dǎo)下,從曹明倫和劉仲敬兩個(gè)漢語譯本《原來如此的故事》中選取實(shí)例,分別在詞匯、句法以及修辭三個(gè)層面分析、討論目的論三原則的具體運(yùn)用,旨在通過對(duì)比分析指明各自的翻譯目的和翻譯方法,并且運(yùn)用翻譯目的論三原則為標(biāo)準(zhǔn)來檢測這兩個(gè)譯本實(shí)現(xiàn)各自翻譯目的的切合度,以達(dá)到評(píng)判兩譯本質(zhì)量、挖掘兩譯本示范價(jià)值的目的。以目的論三原則為評(píng)價(jià)標(biāo)準(zhǔn),通過對(duì)比分析,筆者發(fā)現(xiàn)曹明倫的中文譯本《原來如此的故事》充分考慮到了中國兒童讀者的閱讀水平、語言特點(diǎn)和對(duì)文化的接受能力,達(dá)到了吸引兒童讀者的目的,主要運(yùn)用了意譯和省譯的翻譯方法,其譯本在語言的節(jié)奏和韻律上都下了一番工夫,堪稱音樂性語言的典范。而另一方面,劉仲敬則認(rèn)為《原來如此的故事》所傳達(dá)的意象具有較深遠(yuǎn)的教育意義,書中生動(dòng)有趣的故事與其說是講給兒童聽的,不如說對(duì)成人也有一種教育的作用,因此,其所采取的翻譯方法主要是直譯。因此,本文認(rèn)為曹明倫和劉仲敬兩個(gè)漢語譯本《原來如此的故事》大體上都達(dá)到了各自的翻譯目的,其翻譯實(shí)踐不僅證明翻譯目的論在指導(dǎo)兒童文學(xué)翻譯中具有有效性和可行性,而且兩個(gè)優(yōu)秀譯本所選擇的翻譯策略與翻譯方法對(duì)于當(dāng)下兒童文學(xué)作品的翻譯實(shí)踐也具有借鑒意義。
[Abstract]:Just so Stories is a collection of short children's stories written by Rudyard Kipling in 1902. It contains twelve vivid and interesting stories of origin, and is Kipling's bedtime story for his daughter Josephine. They read to children between the ages of 6 and 12. Since Zhang Yousong translated the children's book into Chinese in 1929, there are more than 20 translated versions, illustrations, bilingual Chinese and English versions of the book. Under the guidance of Skopos Theory, this paper selects two Chinese versions of Cao Minglun and Liu Zhongjing as examples, analyzes them at the lexical, syntactic and rhetorical levels, and discusses the concrete application of the three principles of Skopos Theory. The purpose of this paper is to identify their translation purposes and methods through comparative analysis, and to use the three principles of Skopos Theory as the criterion to test the relevance of the two versions to achieve their respective translation aims, in order to achieve the quality of the two versions. The purpose of excavating the demonstration value of the two versions. Based on the three principles of Skopos, the author finds that Cao Minglun's Chinese translation of such a story takes into account the Chinese children's reading level, language characteristics and cultural receptivity. In order to attract children's readers, the author mainly uses the translation methods of free translation and saving translation. The translation works hard on the rhythm and rhythm of the language, which can be regarded as a model of musical language. On the other hand, Liu Zhongjing believes that the images conveyed in such a story have profound educational significance. The vivid and interesting stories in the book are not so much told to children as they are to adults. Therefore, Its translation method is mainly literal translation. Therefore, this paper holds that both Cao Minglun and Liu Zhongjing have generally achieved their respective translation purposes. His translation practice not only proves the validity and feasibility of Skopos theory in guiding the translation of children's literature. Moreover, the translation strategies and methods chosen by the two excellent versions are useful for the translation practice of children's literature.
