【摘要】：本次翻譯實踐中,筆者選取美國當代作家亞當·約翰遜“幸運微笑”小說集中的故事一《生命之花》(Nirvana)進行翻譯。《生命之花》講述了一個程序員與身患絕癥的妻子之間的離奇故事,表達了愛和失去的主題思想。譯者在本次翻譯實踐中,采取恰當的翻譯策略以形象生動地反映原小說人物特色及主題思想。本報告以小說《生命之花》的漢譯為研究對象,詳細探討歸化策略和異化策略在該小說翻譯中的應用。歸化與異化是翻譯中處理文化因素的兩種不同的翻譯策略。歸化翻譯,即主要以目的語文化為歸宿,要求譯者采取譯語讀者習慣的表達方式,來傳達原文的內容。異化翻譯,則主要以原語文化為歸宿,要求譯者采取相應于作者使用的原語表達方式,來傳達原文的內容。本報告主要內容:首先介紹了翻譯文本作者及其寫作風格,同時對小說《生命之花》的內容進行概述;之后分別從譯前準備,翻譯中所遇到的問題,譯后校對三個部分詳細敘述。在翻譯理論部分,涉及有關歸化異化的定義與發(fā)展,以及國內外翻譯家有關歸化和異化的觀點,并在案例分析中具體應用。最后一部分針對此次翻譯實踐進行總結,撰寫心得體會。筆者在小說《生命之花》翻譯實踐中,對小說翻譯的要素以及翻譯策略中歸化異化的合理選擇進行了不斷研究和推敲,并對相關理論知識有了更深的了解,更好地提高了自身的翻譯能力。
[Abstract]:In this translation practice, The writer chooses the story of Adam Johnson's "Lucky smile" novel, "Flower of Life" (Nirvana), to be translated. "Flower of Life" tells a strange story between a programmer and his terminally ill wife. Express the theme of love and loss. In this translation practice, the translator adopts appropriate translation strategies to vividly reflect the characters and themes of the original novel. This paper focuses on the translation of the novel Flowers of Life into Chinese, and discusses the application of domestication and alienation strategies in the translation of the novel in detail. Domestication and alienation are two different translation strategies to deal with cultural factors in translation. Domesticated translation, which is mainly based on the target language, requires the translator to convey the content of the original text through the expression of the target language reader's habit. Dissimilation translation is mainly based on the original language, which requires the translator to convey the original text by using the source language expression corresponding to the author. The main contents of this report are as follows: firstly, the author of the translated text and his writing style are introduced. At the same time, the contents of the novel "Flowers of Life" are summarized, and then the problems encountered in the preparation and translation of the novel before translation are discussed. The three parts of proofreading after translation are described in detail. In the part of translation theory, it involves the definition and development of domestication alienation and the views of translators at home and abroad on domestication and alienation, and it is applied in case analysis. The last part summarizes the translation practice and writes the experience. In the translation practice of Flower of Life, the author studies the elements of novel translation and the reasonable choice of domestication in translation strategies, and has a deeper understanding of the relevant theoretical knowledge. Better improve their translation ability.
