【摘要】：偵探小說是通俗文學(xué)中最受歡迎的體裁之一,是以案件發(fā)生和推理偵破過程為主要描寫對象的小說類型,目前在西方仍然十分流行,但是美國當(dāng)代偵探小說在國內(nèi)譯介不多。近年來,美國校園槍擊案時有發(fā)生,引起人們的高度關(guān)注。為了使中國讀者更深入地了解美國當(dāng)代偵探小說和美國校園槍擊案,筆者選擇翻譯了這部偵探小說。本論文是一篇翻譯實(shí)踐報告,筆者選取了美國著名偵探小說家羅伯特B.帕克(Robert B.Parker)的小說《學(xué)生時代》(School Days)中的第一到十九章加以中譯。筆者在翻譯過程中以美國著名語言學(xué)家、翻譯大師尤金·奈達(dá)提出的功能對等理論為指導(dǎo),盡量使原文與譯文能夠在語義、文化及文體等方面達(dá)到對等,使得譯文讀者對譯文的反應(yīng)等值于原文讀者對原文的反應(yīng)。本報告共分為五個部分。第一部分為本報告的研究背景、研究意義以及本報告結(jié)構(gòu);第二部分介紹翻譯項(xiàng)目來源、譯前準(zhǔn)備和翻譯過程;第三部分是對原文本語言風(fēng)格和形式的分析;第四部分是案例分析,在功能對等理論的基礎(chǔ)上,重點(diǎn)分析了原文本翻譯過程中遇到的問題,分別是文化負(fù)載詞的翻譯、省略句的翻譯和長難句的翻譯,并提出相應(yīng)的解決方法;第五部分總結(jié)了翻譯實(shí)踐中存在的不足和獲得的經(jīng)驗(yàn)。通過此次翻譯實(shí)踐,筆者在翻譯方面取得了很大的進(jìn)步,對美國文化有了更多了解,也發(fā)現(xiàn)了自己的不足之處。
[Abstract]:Detective novel is one of the most popular genres in popular literature. It is a kind of novel which mainly describes the process of case occurrence and reasoning and resolution. At present, it is still very popular in the West. However, there are few translations of contemporary detective stories in the United States. In recent years, shootings on American campuses have occurred from time to time, drawing high attention. In order to enable Chinese readers to understand more deeply the contemporary detective stories in the United States and the shootings on American campuses, The writer chose to translate the detective novel. The first to 19 chapters of the novel by Robert B. Parker, a famous American detective novelist, are selected to be translated into Chinese. The functional equivalence theory put forward by Eugene Nida, the great translator, is used as a guide to try to achieve equivalence between the original text and the target text in terms of semantics, culture, and style. This report is divided into five parts: the first part is the research background, the significance and the structure of the report; the second part introduces the source of the translation project. The third part is the analysis of the style and form of the original text, and the 4th part is the case study. On the basis of the functional equivalence theory, it focuses on the problems encountered in the original text translation. They are the translation of culture-loaded words, the translation of elliptical sentences and the translation of long difficult sentences, and the corresponding solutions are put forward. Part 5th summarizes the shortcomings and experiences gained in translation practice. The author has made great progress in translation, has a better understanding of American culture, and has found his own shortcomings.
