文藝作品中怪物形象的生成及審美意義

【摘要】:在比較文學領域,怪物形象屬主題學和形象學研究范疇。異于我們日常生活體驗的“怪物”(monster)審美文化史,可謂源遠流長。作為外表“異化”的怪物形象,無論文藝作品的表現形式、內容等經歷何種迭代更新,該形象始終不改“怪”的本性,并在漫長的文藝畫卷中不斷閃光。文藝作品的怪物形象生成與美學意蘊研究,不僅可以對受眾審美的“重口味”現象做出一些合理解釋,而且能夠為現代各藝術領域不斷創(chuàng)新、發(fā)展提供素材或思路,為歷史、文化等研究批評者提供新穎的切入視角,尤其重要的是,論文題旨切合科技與人文關系大討論的時代主題。本文通過對怪物形象歷史嬗變的三個重要節(jié)點與類型——人獸合體的喀邁拉、弗蘭肯斯坦和賽博格,對其發(fā)展脈絡進行梳理和歸納,并探討其在不同歷史語境中的怪物形象的生成以及呈現的審美文化意義。為此,擬分為三部分來對該形象進行闡述:第一部分從古代藝術作品中的人獸同體的喀邁拉形象、現代科幻小說中的弗蘭肯斯坦、當代科技與人文關聯(lián)域的賽博格三個階段的演變過程,來論述其產生淵源與維度,探討其發(fā)展中的轉折點以及在現代語境中的表現。第二部分對不同歷史語境下怪物形象的生成問題進行探究,主要涉及三個維度:首先,從集體無意識維度來看,它是人類對于自然世界與超自然的想象;第二,從文化研究維度來看,它是歸化與異化的“他者”想象;第三,從人文主義維度來看,它是人性與獸性的矛盾想象。第三部分側重探討怪物喀邁拉的神話與美學意蘊。怪物形象折射出神話思維,凝聚了人類在與自然、社會不斷博弈抗爭的過程所形成的悲劇精神,體現了“反常合道”的審丑美學,促發(fā)了人們對當代科技與人文關系的反思,以及對未來世界的期望。結語認為,怪物形象呈現出從古代神話到現代科幻小說,再到當代數字電子傳媒不同載體的發(fā)展軌跡。這種怪異形象糾纏了人性與獸性,非但沒有按常理被人類拋棄,反而歷久而彌新,煥發(fā)出勃勃的生命力?偫ǘ,怪物生成具有多元維度,既有人類集體無意識的心理影響,又有歷史文化的成因。怪物形象有著豐富的神話學與美學蘊含。怪物研究在當代科技與人文關系的問題上尤其具有思想啟迪意義。
[Abstract]:In the field of comparative literature, monster image belongs to the study of subject science and imageology. Different from our daily life experience, "monster" has a long history of aesthetic culture. No matter what kind of iterative renewal of the forms and contents of literary and artistic works, the image always does not change the nature of "strange", and continues to flash in the long literary and artistic scroll.; the creation of Monster Image and the study of Aesthetic implication of Literary and artistic works, It can not only give some reasonable explanation to the phenomenon of "emphasis on taste", but also can provide materials or ideas for the continuous innovation and development of various fields of art, and provide a new angle of view for critics of history, culture and other research. In particular, the theme of the paper is suitable for the theme of the great discussion of the relationship between science and technology and humanity. This paper deals with the three important nodes and types of historical transmutation of monster image, namely, Kamala, Franken Stein and Cyberberg, which are the combination of human beings and beasts. Combing and summing up its development, and discussing the creation of monster image in different historical context and its aesthetic cultural significance. It is to be divided into three parts to elaborate the image: the first part is from the ancient works of art of human beings and beasts in the image of Kamala, the modern science fiction of Franken Stein, The evolution process of the three stages of the related domain of contemporary science and technology and humanity, to discuss its origin and dimension. The second part probes into the formation of monster images in different historical contexts, which mainly involves three dimensions: first, from the perspective of collective unconscious dimension. It is the human imagination of the natural world and the supernatural; second, from the perspective of cultural research, it is the "other" imagination of domestication and alienation; third, from the perspective of humanism, The third part focuses on the mythology and aesthetic implication of the monster Kamala. The image of the monster reflects the mythological thinking and condenses the tragic spirit of human being in the process of constantly competing with nature and society. It embodies the aesthetics of judging ugliness in "abnormal consonance", and promotes people's reflection on the relationship between contemporary science and technology and humanity, as well as the expectation of the future world. The conclusion holds that the image of monster appears from ancient mythology to modern science fiction. And then to the development trajectory of different carriers of modern digital electronic media. This strange image entangled human nature and animosity. Instead of being abandoned by human beings in accordance with common sense, it was a long time old and new and full of vitality. To sum up, The creation of monsters has multiple dimensions, which has the psychological influence of human collective unconscious. The monstrous image has rich mythology and aesthetic implication, and the study of monster is especially instructive on the relationship between contemporary science and technology and humanity.
