【摘要】:俄國形式主義學派認為文學性是文學的本質(zhì)特征,而文學性需要通過陌生化手法實現(xiàn)。陌生化的實質(zhì)在于不斷打破人們對事物的陳舊感知,增加讀者的感悟難度,延長感悟時間,使讀者獲得新鮮的體驗。在文學作品的翻譯中,理解和再現(xiàn)原作中的陌生化是再現(xiàn)原作文學性的重要手段。作為當代中國魔幻現(xiàn)實主義文學的領(lǐng)軍人物,閻連科的作品呈現(xiàn)出強烈的陌生化特征,以荒誕的情節(jié),濃郁的地域色彩和俚俗與藻麗并存的語言風格帶給讀者陌生化的閱讀體驗,但同時也給英譯者帶來巨大挑戰(zhàn)。在《受活》這部小說中,作家用河南方言和荒誕敘事講述了處于邊緣的山村是如何被拖進現(xiàn)代化的進程當中的。《受活》英譯本Lenin’s Kisses在英語國家大受歡迎,是一部典型的通過陌生化手段實現(xiàn)文學性的優(yōu)秀譯作。論文從語言、修辭和文化三個層面分析譯者如何在譯文中重構(gòu)陌生化效果,并從語篇層面分析譯者如何達到陌生化與讀者理解的平衡。通過定性和描述分析,筆者得出如下結(jié)論:在語言和文化層面,譯者主要采取了異化的翻譯策略,具體技巧包括音譯、直譯、創(chuàng)造新詞等等,最大程度地保留原語的特征、文化意象和文化特色。在修辭方面,譯者選擇向原文靠攏以忠實再現(xiàn)原文的陌生化效果;若英文對應修辭手段未能再現(xiàn)原文陌生化效果,譯者會充分發(fā)揮主觀能動性,采用原文沒有的修辭手段如雙關(guān)和語域交叉等技巧強化諷刺效果。在平衡陌生化表達與讀者理解方面,譯者在譯文其他部分中加入解釋性信息以降低理解難度,并通過調(diào)整敘述順序和重組篇章段落來實現(xiàn)文本層面的通順與連貫!妒芑睢返挠⒆g本通過平衡陌生化與讀者期待之間的關(guān)系,借助陌生化的翻譯再現(xiàn)手法,有效地在譯本中凸顯了作品的文學性。
[Abstract]:Russian formalism school holds that literariness is the essential characteristic of literature, and literariness needs to be realized by defamiliarization. The essence of defamiliarization is to constantly break people's old perception of things. Increasing the difficulty of readers' perception, prolonging the time of understanding, making readers get fresh experience, in the translation of literary works. Understanding and reproducing the strangeness of the original is an important means to reproduce the literary quality of the original. As a leading figure in the contemporary Chinese magic realism, Yan Lianke's works show strong defamiliarization characteristics. With the absurd plot, rich regional color and vulgar and elegant language style, it brings readers a strange reading experience, but at the same time, it also brings great challenges to the English translator. In Henan dialect and absurd narration, the writer tells how the marginal mountain village was dragged into the process of modernization. The English translation of Lenin's Kisses is very popular in English-speaking countries. It is a typical excellent translation of literariness through defamiliarization. This paper analyzes how the translator reconstructs the effect of strangeness in the target text from the three aspects of language rhetoric and culture. Through qualitative and descriptive analysis, the author draws the following conclusions: at the linguistic and cultural levels, the translator has mainly adopted a dissimilation translation strategy. Specific techniques include transliteration, literal translation, creation of new words and so on, to maximize the retention of the characteristics of the original language, cultural imagery and cultural characteristics. The translator chooses to draw close to the original text in order to faithfully reproduce the strangeness effect of the original text; If the English corresponding rhetorical devices fail to reproduce the effect of the original unfamiliarization, the translator will give full play to his subjective initiative. Using rhetorical devices such as puns and register crossing, which are not available in the original text, to enhance satirical effects. In order to reduce the difficulty of understanding, the translator adds explanatory information to the other parts of the target text in order to balance the strangeness of expression with the reader's understanding. By adjusting the sequence of narration and reorganizing the text paragraphs, we can achieve the smoothness and coherence of the text. By balancing the relationship between the strangeness and the readers' expectations, the English version of "alive" can be reappeared with the help of defamiliarization. The literariness of the works is effectively highlighted in the translation.
