【摘要】： “文化缺省”現(xiàn)象在文學(xué)作品中普遍存在,然而又不易被原文讀者覺察。它可以提高作者和讀者之間的交際效率,使作品具有簡潔美和含蓄美,并給讀者留下想象的空間,從而增強作品的美學(xué)效果,但是這一現(xiàn)象卻給翻譯帶來了很大的困難�；诖�,本文嘗試探討在翻譯過程中對源語文本中“文化缺省”現(xiàn)象的處理方法。 本文從“缺省”這一概念出發(fā),探討“文化缺省”的功能,“文化缺省”給翻譯帶來的困難及其對譯者的要求。并結(jié)合《紅樓夢》楊譯本,把“文化缺省”的處理方法分為三種,即:直譯法,顯性補償法,隱性補償法,并對其各自的適應(yīng)性和優(yōu)缺點進行了總結(jié)。通過分析,本文得出以下結(jié)論: 一“文化缺省”現(xiàn)象不可忽視,譯者應(yīng)對其進行相應(yīng)的處理。 二對源語文本中的“文化缺省”進行合理補償有助于傳播源語文化,豐富譯入語文化。對“文化缺省”的處理受譯者翻譯目的及翻譯策略的影響。 三對“文化缺省”過度補償會造成譯文讀者異域文化負載過重,從而帶來閱讀障礙。因此譯者對“文化缺省”的處理應(yīng)考慮讀者的接受能力。 四補償并不能解決所有的“文化缺省”問題,在處理“文化缺省”的過程中,有些流失是不可避免的。
[Abstract]:The phenomenon of "cultural default" is common in literary works, but it is not easy to be detected by the original readers. It can improve the communication efficiency between the author and the reader, make the works have the beauty of simplicity and implicit beauty, and leave the reader with the space of imagination, thus enhancing the aesthetic effect of the works, but this phenomenon brings a great deal of translation to the translation. Based on this, this paper attempts to explore how to deal with the phenomenon of "cultural default" in the source language in the process of translation.
This paper, starting from the concept of "default", explores the function of "cultural default", the difficulties brought by "cultural default" and the requirements for translators. Combining the "dream of Red Mansions >" Yang translation, we divide the treatment methods of "cultural default" into three kinds, namely, direct translation, explicit compensation method, recessive compensation method, and their respective adaptability and excellence. The shortcomings are summarized. Through analysis, the following conclusions can be drawn:
The phenomenon of "cultural default" can not be ignored, and translators should deal with them accordingly.
Two reasonable compensation for the "cultural default" in the source text helps to disseminate the source language culture and enrich the culture of the target language. The treatment of "cultural default" is influenced by the translator's translation purpose and the translation strategy.
Three the excessive compensation of "cultural default" will result in excessive cultural load in the foreign language of the target readers, thus bringing reading barriers. Therefore, the translator should consider the reader's acceptance ability to deal with the "cultural default".
Four compensation does not solve all the "cultural default" problems. In the process of dealing with "cultural default", some of the losses are inevitable.
