【摘要】：翻譯理論的研究在國內(nèi)外已有相當(dāng)長的歷史,自20世紀(jì)70年代以來,基于目的論的翻譯研究迅速發(fā)展了起來,成為倍受關(guān)注的翻譯理論之一。雖然該理論的起步時(shí)間較晚,但是其內(nèi)容對翻譯研究卻有著巨大的啟示和指導(dǎo)意義。 目的論認(rèn)為翻譯是一種有目的的行為,翻譯的目的決定翻譯行為。與傳統(tǒng)的翻譯理論相比較,目的論降低了原文的地位,對于譯者的主體地位給予了充分的強(qiáng)調(diào)。目的論認(rèn)為譯者可以根據(jù)翻譯目的的需要采用合適的翻譯方法和策略。目的論是翻譯理論上的一次新的突破,為翻譯研究和翻譯實(shí)踐提供了一個全新的視角。 林語堂先生是聞名國內(nèi)外n的作家,學(xué)者和翻譯家,他“兩腳踏東西文化,一心評宇宙文”一生投身于中國文化的推廣和傳播。Moment in Peking是林先生旅居國外時(shí)用英語創(chuàng)作的長篇小說,該書不僅以全景的方式全面地描述了現(xiàn)代中國社會的風(fēng)起云涌,更是滲透著濃厚的儒道文化思想。它對中國社會風(fēng)俗文化的宣傳和推廣以及東西方文化的理解和交流都具有深遠(yuǎn)的意義。林先生更是因?yàn)镸oment in Peking的創(chuàng)作而多次提名諾貝爾文學(xué)獎。 Moment in Peking這本由中國本上作家用英文寫就的長篇小說,其中大量的中國式的文化和語言內(nèi)涵,決定了該文本的翻譯具有不同于其他作品的特殊性,而目的論又是翻譯理論中頗具代表性的理論,因此從目的論角度來解析Moment in Peking中文譯本的翻譯,將具有重要意義。在目的論理論的指導(dǎo)下,結(jié)合翻譯研究的特點(diǎn),本文選取了張振玉先和郁飛先生對于Moment in Peking的兩個中文譯本,從目的論的角度出發(fā),通過對Moment in Peking的兩個中文譯本進(jìn)行對比、分析和解讀,進(jìn)一步地探掘了目的論指導(dǎo)翻譯活動的實(shí)際性和有效性,作者通過對兩個中文譯本的客觀具體地分析比較,闡釋了譯者在各自翻譯目的的指導(dǎo)下采取的翻譯方法和策略。 本研究的意義主要體現(xiàn)在以下兩個方面：理論上,整理分析目的論理論近段時(shí)間的發(fā)展?fàn)顩r,有助于翻譯研究理論框架的豐滿和完善；實(shí)踐上,通過運(yùn)用目的論理論分析具體實(shí)例,進(jìn)一步驗(yàn)證其對翻譯實(shí)踐的指導(dǎo)意義,以期能夠通過本文的研究推動更多從目的論理論方面研究翻譯文本的活動的開展。
[Abstract]:The study of translation theory has a long history at home and abroad. Since the 1970s, Skopos translation studies have developed rapidly and become one of the most concerned translation theories.Although the beginning of the theory is relatively late, its content has great implications for translation studies.Skopos theory holds that translation is a purposeful act, and the purpose of translation determines the act of translation.Compared with the traditional translation theory, Skopos theory reduces the status of the source text and gives sufficient emphasis to the subjectivity of the translator.Skopos theory holds that translators can adopt appropriate translation methods and strategies according to the needs of translation purposes.Skopos theory is a new breakthrough in translation theory and provides a new perspective for translation research and translation practice.Lin Yutang is a famous writer, scholar and translator at home and abroad.Devoted all his life to the promotion and spread of Chinese culture. Moment in Peking is a novel that Mr. Lin wrote in English when he lived abroad. The book not only comprehensively describes the rise and fall of modern Chinese society in a panoramic way.It is permeated with strong Confucianism and Taoist culture.It is of great significance to the propaganda and promotion of Chinese social customs and culture as well as the understanding and exchange of eastern and western cultures.Lin even nominated the Nobel Prize for Literature for his work by Moment in Peking.Moment in Peking, a novel written in English by Chinese writers, has a great deal of Chinese cultural and linguistic connotations, which determines that the translation of this text is different from other works.Skopos theory is a representative theory in translation theory, so it is of great significance to analyze the translation of Moment in Peking from the perspective of Skopos theory.Under the guidance of Skopos theory and the characteristics of translation studies, this paper selects two Chinese versions of Moment in Peking by Zhang Zhenyu and Yu Fei, and compares the two Chinese versions of Moment in Peking from the perspective of Skopos theory.Through the analysis and interpretation, the author further explores the practicality and effectiveness of Skopos theory in guiding translation activities. The author analyzes and compares the two Chinese versions objectively and concretely.This paper explains the translation methods and strategies adopted by translators under the guidance of their translation purposes.The significance of this study is mainly reflected in the following two aspects: theoretically, the development of Skopos Theory in the recent period will contribute to the fullness and perfection of the theoretical framework of translation studies;By using Skopos theory to analyze concrete examples, this paper further verifies its guiding significance in translation practice, in order to promote more research on translation texts from the perspective of Skopos theory.
