【摘要】: 二十世紀(jì)七十年代,文學(xué)翻譯研究領(lǐng)域中出現(xiàn)了一場(chǎng)被稱為“文化轉(zhuǎn)向”的變革。這場(chǎng)“文化轉(zhuǎn)向”主張把翻譯研究置于更為廣闊的文化語(yǔ)境之中,關(guān)注影響和制約譯者在翻譯過(guò)程中所作出的各種選擇的政治,歷史,文化等外部因素,對(duì)于揭示翻譯活動(dòng)的規(guī)律和豐富翻譯理論的研究具有重要的意義。比利時(shí)比較文學(xué)學(xué)者和翻譯理論家安德魯·勒費(fèi)維爾是這一轉(zhuǎn)向中的領(lǐng)軍人物,最具代表性的就是他的翻譯三要素理論:翻譯是對(duì)原文的重寫,它始終都受到三種因素的操縱:詩(shī)學(xué)觀,譯者或當(dāng)代的意識(shí)形態(tài)和贊助人。 在過(guò)去的十幾年里,人們已經(jīng)運(yùn)用勒費(fèi)維爾的三要素理論分析了相當(dāng)多的文學(xué)作品的譯本,揭示了這些文學(xué)作品在翻譯過(guò)程受到的三種要素的操控。但是,這些研究多數(shù)都局限于對(duì)某一單一譯本的分析,而運(yùn)用三要素理論對(duì)同一部文學(xué)作品的不同譯本的比較研究相對(duì)較少,尤其是對(duì)在同種目的語(yǔ)中不同譯本生成的原因的研究更是少之又少。 為了對(duì)同一文學(xué)作品在相同目的語(yǔ)內(nèi)產(chǎn)生不同譯本的原因進(jìn)行更深入的研究,本文利用勒費(fèi)維爾的三要素理論對(duì)文楚安和王永年分別翻譯的《在路上》的兩個(gè)中文譯本進(jìn)行了對(duì)比研究,結(jié)果表明:盡管文楚安和王永年在翻譯《在路上》時(shí)都在著力再現(xiàn)原著的文化藝術(shù)價(jià)值,但由于他們各自受到不同的詩(shī)學(xué)觀,意識(shí)形態(tài)和贊助人的操控,使得他們?cè)诜g策略的選擇和運(yùn)用上呈現(xiàn)出較大的不同,最終產(chǎn)生出風(fēng)格迥異的翻譯文本,從而為讀者提供了更為理智客觀的欣賞依據(jù)。
[Abstract]:In the 1970s, there was a change in the field of literary translation called "cultural turn".The "cultural turn" advocates that translation studies be placed in a broader cultural context, and that attention be paid to the political, historical, cultural and other external factors that influence and restrict the choices made by the translator in the process of translation.It is of great significance to reveal the law of translation activities and enrich the study of translation theory.Andrew Lefeville, a Belgian comparative literature scholar and translation theorist, is the leading figure in this turn, the most representative of which is his three-element theory of translation: translation is the rewriting of the original text.It is always manipulated by three factors: poetics, translators or contemporary ideology and patronage.In the past decade or so, many translations of literary works have been analyzed using Lefevere's three-factor theory, which reveals the manipulation of these literary works in the process of translation.However, most of these studies are confined to the analysis of a single translation, and the comparative study of different versions of the same literary work by using the three-element theory is relatively few.In particular, there are few studies on the causes of the formation of different versions in the same target language.In order to study the causes of different versions of the same literary works in the same target language,This paper makes a comparative study of the two Chinese versions of "on the Road" translated by Wen Chu-an and Wang Yongnian by using Lefevere's three-element theory.The results show that although both Wen Chu-an and Wang Yongnian are trying to reproduce the cultural and artistic value of the original works in their translation of "on the Road", they are controlled by different poetics, ideology and patronage.It makes their choice and application of translation strategies more different, resulting in different styles of translation texts, thus providing a more rational and objective appreciation basis for readers.
