文學(xué)翻譯中讀者的接受主體地位

【摘要】: 翻譯的主體研究是當(dāng)前翻譯界關(guān)注的一個熱點。傳統(tǒng)的譯學(xué)研究以原作和作者為中心,注重將原作和譯作進(jìn)行比較分析,評判譯者是否將作者在原作中表達(dá)的意義在譯作中完整地表達(dá)出來,試圖在忠實的基礎(chǔ)上構(gòu)建一個統(tǒng)一的翻譯標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。作為譯作創(chuàng)造者的譯者和譯作接受者的讀者,在傳統(tǒng)譯學(xué)研究中都沒有受到應(yīng)有的重視。隨著翻譯研究的發(fā)展,人們開始把關(guān)注的目光投向譯者,,認(rèn)識到譯者在文學(xué)翻譯中發(fā)揮的主觀能動作用,譯者的主體意識開始覺醒,譯者的主體地位也逐漸被更多的人承認(rèn),譯者的功績得到了應(yīng)有的尊重。相比之下,人們對于讀者在文學(xué)翻譯中的地位和作用還缺乏深入的研究。實際上,翻譯的目的是為了向讀者傳播和交流不同的文化和文學(xué)審美體驗,翻譯文學(xué)作品的價值也需要通過讀者的接受來實現(xiàn)。也就是說,讀者的接受是文學(xué)翻譯過程的出發(fā)點和落腳點。因此,對于翻譯過程中這樣一個重要因素的研究不僅是應(yīng)該的,而且也是必須的。 本文從翻譯研究范式的演變出發(fā),借鑒比較文學(xué)中接受研究的方法,引入接受美學(xué)的研究視角,把翻譯研究與接受美學(xué)的理論結(jié)合起來,通過研究讀者的接受在文學(xué)翻譯準(zhǔn)備時期、文學(xué)翻譯過程中間和譯作問世后的不同階段所發(fā)揮的積極能動作用,確立讀者的接受主體地位。在論述中,本文從接受的角度劃分了讀者的層次,提出了“讀者場”的概念,對于讀者主體地位的表現(xiàn)形式進(jìn)行了詳細(xì)的闡釋,目的是要使文學(xué)翻譯中讀者的作用得到充分的體現(xiàn),引起我們的高度重視,從而使文學(xué)翻譯的過程成為一個更加全面、完整和開放的有機系統(tǒng)。 在明確了讀者在文學(xué)翻譯中的接受主體地位之后,本文還詳細(xì)闡述了這一研究成果對于文學(xué)翻譯的啟示意義。首先,對于譯者而言,讀者的接受主體地位意味著譯者應(yīng)當(dāng)積極預(yù)見、研究讀者的期待視野,在翻譯中努力做到譯作與讀者的視野融合,盡可能達(dá)到最佳的譯介效果。同時譯者還要做到滿足讀者與打破讀者的統(tǒng)一,通過拓寬、更新讀者的期待視野來不斷提高、增強讀者的欣賞水平和審美能力。其次,對于讀者來說,自身的接受主體地位意味著自己不再是作品消極被動的接受者,而應(yīng)當(dāng)積極主動地參與發(fā)現(xiàn)和創(chuàng)造作品的文學(xué)價值,通過閱讀和接受來對作品進(jìn)行有效的評判。讀者的接受主體地位同時也要求讀者努力提高自身的文化水平,善于接受新的生活體驗,增強藝術(shù)品位和審美修養(yǎng),動態(tài)適應(yīng)藝術(shù)的接受需要,最終促進(jìn)文學(xué)翻譯水平的不斷提高。第三,我們在構(gòu)建翻譯文學(xué)史的同時,應(yīng)當(dāng)把讀者的反應(yīng),接受和評價考慮進(jìn)去。讀者的接受作為文學(xué)翻譯過程的一個重要組成部分,無疑要在翻譯文學(xué)史的研究中得到體現(xiàn)。翻譯文學(xué)作品在讀者中共時和歷時接受的多樣性和復(fù)雜性,在翻譯文學(xué)史上應(yīng)當(dāng)給予必要的描述,從中總結(jié)出讀者的文學(xué)審美價值觀念隨著時代的變遷而產(chǎn)生的繼承與演進(jìn),從而拓寬翻譯文學(xué)史研究的范圍,增強其歷史感和動態(tài)感。 文學(xué)翻譯中主體與客體之間相互作用的關(guān)系是復(fù)雜多樣的。本文從接受美學(xué)的角度出發(fā),重點探討了在文學(xué)翻譯的過程中讀者作為接受主體所發(fā)揮的作用,以期對于譯學(xué)中翻譯主體的研究盡綿薄之力。
[Abstract]:Study on the subject of translation is a hot topic in translation circles. Traditional translation studies in the original text and the author as the center, pay attention to the original and translated texts for comparative analysis, judge whether the translator will express the author in the original meaning in the translation fully expressed, trying to build a unified standard in the faithful translation on the basis of translation. As the creator of the translator and the translation of the recipient readers, have received little attention in the traditional translation studies. With the development of translation studies, people began to pay attention to the translator's subjective initiative, realize that the translator plays in literary translation, the translator's subjective consciousness awakening, the translator the main position has been more and more people admit that the translator's merit has been respected. In contrast, people still lack for the position and role of readers in Literary Translation Deep research. In fact, the purpose of translation is to the reader to the dissemination and exchange of different cultural and literary aesthetic experience, the value of literature translation is achieved through the acceptance of readers. That is to say, the reader's acceptance is the starting point of the process of literary translation and the end. Therefore, for the study of translation process in such one of the most important factors not only should be, but also must.
This article from the evolution of the paradigm in translation studies, using the methods of research in comparative literature, introducing the research perspective of the accepted aesthetics, translation studies combined with the theory of aesthetics of reception, by accepting the study of readers in literary translation preparation period, the active role played by the process of literary translation and translation among different stages after the advent of the the establishment, reader's subjectivity. In the paper, this paper divides the reader's level from the angle of acceptance, put forward the concept of "readers", forms for readers' dominant position for a detailed explanation, the aim is to make the reader's role in literary translation is fully embodied, arouse our attention the process of literary translation, so that a more comprehensive and complete organic system and open.
The reader in literary translation subject status, this paper also discusses the research significance for literary translation. Firstly, as for the translator, reader's subject status means that the translator should actively anticipate, study the reader's expectation horizon and strive to do the integration of translation in translation and readers the vision, as far as possible to achieve the best results of the translation. The translator should also meet the readers and readers to break the unity, by broadening, update the reader's horizon of expectations to continue to improve, enhance the reader's appreciation level and aesthetic ability. Secondly, for the reader, its subject status means that they are no longer passive works the recipient should actively participate in the discovery and the creation of the value of works of literature, through reading and acceptance of works effectively. The reader judge The subject position also requires readers to improve their cultural level, receptive to new life experience, artistic taste and aesthetic accomplishment enhancement, dynamic adaptation to the acceptance of art needs, and ultimately promote the continuous improvement of the level of literary translation. In third, we construct the history of literary translation at the same time, should take the reader's response, acceptance and evaluation the reader's acceptance into consideration. As an important part of the process of literary translation, will be reflected in the study of the history of literary translation in the translation of literary works in Chinese readers. And took the time to accept diversity and complexity, should be given the necessary description in literary translation history, summed up the inheritance and evolution of readers the literary aesthetic values resulting from changes with the times, so as to broaden the scope of translation studies of literary history, enhance its sense of history and dynamic sense.
The interaction between subject and object in literary translation is complicated. This paper from the perspective of reception aesthetics, discussed in the process of literary translation readers as the receptive subject role, in order to study the subject of translation in translation studies to contribute.
