【摘要】：翻譯協(xié)會和組織在翻譯學科的發(fā)展中起到不可或缺的推動作用，無論在世界范圍內(nèi)還是在國家層面上，翻譯協(xié)會和組織的建立都是翻譯行業(yè)的里程碑事件。這些機構(gòu)在促進翻譯職業(yè)化，規(guī)范翻譯市場和吸引翻譯人才方面發(fā)揮著重要作用。通過它們的努力，翻譯正在變成一個更加規(guī)范，更為大眾所認可的職業(yè)。 為了對行業(yè)職業(yè)化發(fā)展有更深入系統(tǒng)的了解，本文采用社會學的特征模型、控制模型和過程模型等三個職業(yè)化模型，從不同的社會學視角分析和闡釋這一現(xiàn)象。 結(jié)合這三個模型，論文研究了國際性、地域性和國家性的重要翻譯協(xié)會和組織，并選取這些機構(gòu)發(fā)展中的重大事件，來探討機構(gòu)發(fā)展和翻譯職業(yè)化進程之間的關(guān)系。在國家層面上，本文主要研究北美和歐洲（西歐和北歐）等發(fā)達翻譯市場中的機構(gòu)發(fā)展，并完成美國翻譯協(xié)會和德國翻譯協(xié)會兩個個案研究。本文認為，這些機構(gòu)在翻譯職業(yè)化發(fā)展中的實踐代表著行業(yè)中最先進的做法，值得有關(guān)國家借鑒和學習。 在此基礎(chǔ)上，文章結(jié)合中國翻譯學科機構(gòu)發(fā)展現(xiàn)狀，對中國的翻譯學科機構(gòu)發(fā)展提出了五條建議，認為中國應(yīng)該：（1）建立針對翻譯公司和翻譯培訓(xùn)項目的認證機制，，以擴大認證范圍；（2）創(chuàng)建一個已認證譯員的數(shù)據(jù)庫，方便精確查找；（3）將“宣誓”翻譯員和“國家授權(quán)”譯員應(yīng)用于法律翻譯領(lǐng)域；（4）將教育客戶和大眾納入可持續(xù)教育的體系當中；（5）建立一個立足于中國翻譯市場的研究機構(gòu)。
