【摘要】：本文主要研究香港地區(qū)粵語和英語之間的語碼轉(zhuǎn)換。研究的方面包括語碼轉(zhuǎn)換的特征和功能。語碼轉(zhuǎn)換的特征包括語音特征、音系特征、形態(tài)句法特征。語碼轉(zhuǎn)換的功能研究將會區(qū)分為功能實(shí)現(xiàn)型的語碼轉(zhuǎn)換和非功能實(shí)現(xiàn)型的語碼轉(zhuǎn)換兩種形式。 更加具體地說，本文主要嘗試回答以下四個(gè)問題： 是否有些音比其他音更容易成為被轉(zhuǎn)換的對象？如果是，那么這些音有哪些特點(diǎn)？ 被轉(zhuǎn)換了的詞的音會不會發(fā)生一些變化？如果會，那么這些變化又是什么呢？ 什么詞性的詞更容易被轉(zhuǎn)換？名詞？動詞？形容詞？介詞？ 在進(jìn)行語碼轉(zhuǎn)換的時(shí)候，說話人可不可以無任何目的？ 研究的不同部分會用不同的理論來分析。其中，粵英語碼轉(zhuǎn)換的語音與音系特征將會用普安斯和斯莫棱克的優(yōu)選論來分析；而它的形態(tài)，句法特征將會用麥亞斯哥頓的標(biāo)記模式和主體語言構(gòu)造模式來分析；至于它的功能研究將會以適應(yīng)模式和格萊斯的合作原則中的方式原則為基礎(chǔ)。 本文所采取的研究方法是分析港劇中的對白。分析主要是以香港4部情景喜�。ā稅刍丶摇�，《女王辦公室》，《戀愛季節(jié)》和《on call36小時(shí)》）中轉(zhuǎn)錄的語碼轉(zhuǎn)換的例子為基礎(chǔ)，找出香港地區(qū)語碼轉(zhuǎn)換的特點(diǎn)和功能。 通過研究，筆者發(fā)現(xiàn)本文一開始所要探究的四個(gè)問題的回答都是肯定的。 在語音方面，以輔音開頭的和音節(jié)比較少的單詞更加容易被嵌入到中文里面，這被看作是嵌入語對主題語的音節(jié)結(jié)構(gòu)的適應(yīng)。 在音系方面，語碼轉(zhuǎn)換的單詞經(jīng)歷了一些變音。有一些音被插入了，有一些音被刪除了，還有一些音被另外一些音替換了。這些變化也是被看作是嵌入語對主題語的音節(jié)結(jié)構(gòu)的適應(yīng)。 在形態(tài)，句法方面，句中語碼轉(zhuǎn)換比句間語碼轉(zhuǎn)換更為頻繁。同時(shí)，字母和單個(gè)單詞比起詞組更傾向于被替換。還有，，名詞和動詞比其他詞性的單詞更傾向于被嵌入到中文里。 在語碼轉(zhuǎn)化的功能分析過程中，本文發(fā)現(xiàn)除了目的實(shí)現(xiàn)型的語碼轉(zhuǎn)換之外，還有很多非目的實(shí)現(xiàn)型的語碼轉(zhuǎn)化的例子。這就是說，并不是所有的語碼轉(zhuǎn)換都是有意識的、是為了實(shí)現(xiàn)一定目的的，很多語碼轉(zhuǎn)換的例子都是不自覺的，潛意識，非目的性的。 盡管本文有許多不足之處，但是卻為香港粵語和英語之間的語碼轉(zhuǎn)換提供了一個(gè)比較全面的視角，同時(shí)也闡述了一些在該研究領(lǐng)域中被忽視的一些問題。
