隱喻研究可追溯到古希臘亞里士多德,認為隱喻是一種修辭手段和一門語言藝術(shù)。直至20世紀80年代,萊克夫和約翰遜提出了概念隱喻理論,認為隱喻是一種普遍存在的思維方式和認知手段。近年來,國內(nèi)外學(xué)者越來越關(guān)注政治演講中的隱喻研究,比如就職演講,競選演講,新年致辭和主題演講等等,但針對政治演講中外交演講的概念隱喻對比研究相對較少。外交演講是政治演講的一種特殊形式,是對國家政治理念和國家形象的直觀展示,在國際政治事務(wù)中扮演著重要的角色。由于國際政治的抽象性和復(fù)雜性,在政治演講中,政治家們通過概念隱喻能夠更好地取得宣傳效果和達到政治目的。因此,本文旨在揭示習(xí)近平主席和奧巴馬總統(tǒng)如何在外交政治演講中通過概念隱喻來實現(xiàn)政治理念的解釋和國家形象的構(gòu)建功能。本研究選取習(xí)近平主席和奧巴馬總統(tǒng)出訪所做的20篇演講為研究對象,自建英漢語料庫,其中漢語語料為42259字,英語語料為35328詞。本文以概念隱喻為理論基礎(chǔ)和批評隱喻分析為方法框架,采取定量和定性的研究方法,從隱喻識別、隱喻闡釋和隱喻解釋對習(xí)近平和奧巴馬外交演講進行分析,歸納隱喻使用的分布情況,闡釋隱喻使用的相似性和差異性,解釋影響隱喻選擇的因素。研究結(jié)...
