基于社交媒體的中美高校跨文化交流項目的研究(英文)

跨文化交際指的是來自不同文化背景的人們相互交流的過程。外語教學的根本目的是為了實現跨文化交際。本研究將社交媒體與跨文化外語教學相結合,利用網絡教學手段拓展了傳統意義上的面對面的跨文化授課環(huán)境,通過與外語國家的學生建立遠程學習伙伴關系,開展交互性很強的有意義的活動,如目的語和本族語學生之間定期的電子郵件交際、論壇交際、即時通信和基于常用社交媒體如italki和微信的文化專題研究,為學生提供更為真實有效地跨文化交際途徑,同時采取定量和定性相結合的研究方法考察中美學生在認知、態(tài)度、意識和技能四個層面如何實現跨文化交際能力的提高。該研究對我國外語跨文化教學有很強的借鑒意義,既可以彌補課堂教學實踐環(huán)節(jié)的不足,提高學生的語言應用能力,又可以培養(yǎng)學生對目的語和本族語文化的敏感性和批判性思維,提高其解決跨文化交際中問題的能力和自主學習能力。
