英語構(gòu)詞和漢字的原型范疇化對比分析

隨著中西方文化的傳播和影響,長期以來,很多人出于對英漢兩種語言文字的不同理解,簡單地將數(shù)以萬計的英文單詞與漢語詞匯等同對待,以至于造成兩種語言文字基本結(jié)構(gòu)的混淆,對語言學習造成困擾,尤其是對中國學生的英語詞匯識讀和記憶造成巨大的負擔。英文作為表音文字屬于印歐語系,而作為表意文字的漢字則歸屬于漢藏語系。文字是記錄語言的認知工具?v觀英語詞匯的發(fā)展過程,英語構(gòu)詞的生命力是由詞根和詞綴的無限結(jié)合體現(xiàn)出來的,其中以派生詞最為典型。而縱觀漢字的演變以及現(xiàn)代漢字的應(yīng)用,由于龐大且靈活的偏旁,形聲字成為高產(chǎn)的字形。本文基于原型理論,對英文和漢字在文字結(jié)構(gòu)方面進行對比分析;將英語單詞的構(gòu)形方法,構(gòu)形要素(拉丁字母、詞綴)與漢字的造字之法以及筆畫和偏旁進行較為全面細微的對比。根據(jù)前人對詞綴和偏旁的劃分,搜尋并列舉大量實例發(fā)現(xiàn),詞綴構(gòu)成的派生詞和偏旁構(gòu)成的形聲字是范疇化體現(xiàn)在文字上的結(jié)果,是兩種文字構(gòu)形上的原型。同時在表義范疇看,詞綴和偏旁的范疇化功能比較相似,可以進行對照學習,而語法范疇功能則存在較大的差異,追本溯源是由于英漢民族的不同思維方式。根據(jù)以上分析,通過對英漢文字形態(tài)對比分析,可以推斷出英語派...
