中國古代年齡稱名的轉喻研究

  中國古代年齡稱名作為指稱的一種,是指將中國古代人的年齡作為稱名對象,用人主觀意識中與年齡相關的一切事物來對年齡進行稱名,這一活動離不開對稱名對象的主觀認知。本論文試圖借用概念轉喻這一認知工具,從轉喻思維出發(fā)來對中國古代年齡稱名進行認知研究。根據(jù)概念轉喻理論,轉喻映射遵循突顯性和鄰近性的認知原則,人們在認知某一事物時會因為注意的焦點不同而突顯事物的不同側面,從而借用同一認知域或認知矩陣空間內某個突顯的、易感知的、可替換的鄰近部分激活整體轉喻目標。在中國古代年齡稱名中,每個年齡也有突顯出來的相應典型特征,這些突顯的、與年齡相關的鄰近概念被用來指代年齡,因此轉喻映射的鄰近性和突顯性原則可以為作者基于概念轉喻的中國古代年齡稱名研究提供理論闡釋的可能性。通過研究,本論文得出以下結論:(1)年齡稱名作為一種言語思維活動,基于長時間對年齡突顯特征的認真觀察,其關鍵在于年齡與鄰近概念之間的密切聯(lián)系;(2)轉喻映射基于突顯性原則和鄰近性原則,后者又可進一步分為概念鄰近性和空間鄰近性兩種。借用轉喻映射的突顯性和鄰近性原則,突顯的、與年齡相關的鄰近概念可以被作為指稱詞來指代年齡,從而完成對年齡的稱名行為;(...
