　　認知語言學的興起和發(fā)展加深了人們對語言本質和語言意義的認識。認知突顯（Cognitive Prominence），作為識解的維度之一，為我們對語言的描寫和解釋提供了一個可操作的工具�！巴伙@”是指對事物中最突出的某一點或某一面的感知。觀察者的視角不同和在認知轄域中選取的部分不同，會導致出現(xiàn)不同的突顯對象。因此，視角和轄域是體現(xiàn)突顯的重要參數(shù)。Langacker （1987:118;1991:5）區(qū)分了兩類不同的突顯：側面與基體（Profile-Base）和射體與界標（Trajector-Landmark）。在認知語言學中，圖形與背景（Figure-Ground）描寫了感知的一般特征，體現(xiàn)了突顯的主要運作機制�！氨尘啊蓖徽J為是一種襯托，為其突顯部分提供參照，使圖形的場所、路徑或方向得到特定的描寫。復合法（composition）是現(xiàn)代英語和現(xiàn)代漢語最主要的構詞手段之一（文旭、陳治安，2005）。英漢復合詞的構建看似簡單，不過是自由詞素的組合，實際上有著復雜的構建過程（林正軍、楊忠，2007）。英漢復合詞的認知構建，既有相似之處，又存在諸多差異。為了驗證認知突顯對英語復合詞和漢語復合詞構...
