概念隱喻之詩(shī)歌連貫作用研究
[Abstract]:Metaphor is fundamentally conceptual. It is a mapping between the meanings of two conceptual domains, and it is a graphical mapping from a less abstract domain to a more abstract domain. Therefore, the essence of metaphor is to understand one thing through another thing. Metaphor is part of our conceptual system. It governs our thoughts, language and behavior. From the point of view of thinking, it is systematic. Conceptual metaphor is a high collection of people's thinking and feeling, and it is an effective strategy to construct and interpret poetry. This paper takes conceptual metaphor as the main theory to study the role of conceptual metaphor in constructing discourse coherence, and analyzes Dickinson and Shakespeare's two poems from the perspective of cognitive metaphor combined with cognitive coherence theory and conceptual metaphor theory. This paper first finds out the metaphors in the two poems, discusses how different metaphors relate to each other to make the poems coherent, and then analyzes the basic metaphors in the second poem and the complex metaphors derived from them. Thus, it is shown that the metaphors in poetry belong to the conceptual system and can make poetry coherent. Poets use the source domain as the carrier in poetry, which we usually call image. The poet thus expounded abstract ideas. Each poem includes dominant core metaphors and subordinate extended metaphors. Because the poet's conceptual system is systematic, these extended metaphors, together with the core metaphors, can form a metaphorical connection. As a result, the whole text is coherent.
