馬來西亞檳榔嶼喬治市中文路名研究

【摘要】：檳榔嶼喬治市的中文路名藉由華裔市民口耳相傳的方式而流傳不輟,更經(jīng)由長久傳承和集體創(chuàng)作,使得中文路名系統(tǒng)有別于官方頒布的英文路名系統(tǒng)和馬來文路名系統(tǒng)。本文以檳榔嶼喬治市的中文路名作為研究對象,從社會語言學的角度對至今已有兩百多年歷史的中文路名進行了統(tǒng)計、整理、分析和歸納,全文共分為四個部分： 第一部分分析檳榔嶼喬治市中文路名的內容,對有通名的和無通名的中文路名進行細致的研究,了解華裔市民如何按照路名所指代的個體地域的屬性進行分類。 第二部分分析檳榔嶼喬治市中文路名的結構,對中文路名的音節(jié)特點和結構形式進行考察,得出中文路名在音節(jié)和結構方面皆有多樣化的特點。 第三部分分析檳榔嶼喬治市中文路名的命名方法及命名類型。從兩百多年前沿用下來的中文路名系統(tǒng),窺探出影響早期華裔市民命取街道名稱的依據(jù)和方式,并依據(jù)喬治市的地理特征、歷史沿革、政治因素和文化背景,總結出喬治市在命名上的獨特之處。 第四部分對檳榔嶼喬治市的中文路名進行了系統(tǒng)性的研究和考察,通過分析得知,早期檳榔嶼喬治市華裔社會組織的特點、民間信仰與宗教信仰的多元化,以及喬治市繁榮區(qū)由東北角向西南方轉移的事實,體現(xiàn)了檳榔嶼喬治市的歷史文化風貌。
[Abstract]:The Chinese road names in Georgetown, Penang, have been circulating through the word of mouth of Chinese citizens, and have been handed down and created collectively, making the Chinese road names system different from the official English road name system and the Malay road name system. Taking the name of Chinese Road in Georgetown of Penang as the object of study, this paper makes statistics, analyses and sums up the names of Chinese roads, which have a history of more than 200 years, from the perspective of sociolinguistics. The full text is divided into four parts: the first part analyzes the contents of the name of Penang Georgetown Chinese Road name, and makes a detailed study on the Chinese road name with and without a common name. Understand how Chinese citizens can be classified according to the attributes of the individual area referred to by the road name. The second part analyzes the structure of Chinese road names in Georges, Penang, and investigates the syllable characteristics and structural forms of Chinese road names, and concludes that Chinese road names have diversified characteristics in syllables and structures. The third part analyzes the naming method and naming type of Chinese road name in Georgetown, Penang. From the Chinese road name system, which was adopted more than 200 years ago, we can find out the basis and the way that influenced the early Chinese citizens to choose street names, and based on the geographical characteristics, historical evolution, political factors and cultural background of Georgetown. Sum up Georgetown's unique naming. The fourth part has carried on the systematic research and the inspection to the Penang Georgetown Chinese language road name, through the analysis knew that the Penang Georges city Chinese American social organization characteristic, the folk belief and the religious belief pluralism, And the fact that the prosperous area of Georgean moved from northeast corner to southwest reflected the historical and cultural features of Penang.
