【摘要】：人們使用視覺動詞來表達思維、精神等抽象概念。目前，國內外有大量關于視覺動詞的研究。然而對視覺動詞語義擴展的內在機制的跨語言的相關研究卻是很少。 “Look”與“看”在日常交際中的使用頻率最高，使用范圍最廣。本論文主要采用對比分析法，闡釋“Look”與“看”的詞義擴展過程，進而展示視覺動詞意義擴展過程和認知機制。通過查閱權威英語字典和漢語字典，作者對其語義進行梳理分類，通過對“Look”和“看”的詞義擴展的分析，得出以下結論： 1.“Look”和“看”有相似的擴展機制。在“Look”和“看”的意義擴展過程中，隱喻和轉喻是主要的擴展機制.有些意義是通過隱喻和轉喻的相互作用而產生的。“Look”與“看”的意義通過隱喻延伸出‘思考’‘聽’‘提醒，引起對方的注意’等意義。通過轉喻，“Look”與“看”由原型意義派生出‘照顧，照料’之義。 2.“Look”與“看”的詞義擴展機制也有不同之處�！癓ook”通過隱喻派生出‘期望’之義。在隱喻和轉喻的相互作用下，“Look”派生出‘面向，朝向’‘估量，評測’等意義。在轉喻的作用下，“看”延伸出‘閱讀’‘訪問，探望’‘診治’等意義。通過隱喻，，“看”派生出‘選擇’之義。 3.在“Look”和“看”的意義擴展過程中，通過隱喻派生出來的語義要比通過轉喻派生出來的語義多。 本研究在實踐中有積極的指導作用，尤其是在詞匯習得和詞典編纂領域。雖然本研究仍存在不足之處，但是在以后的研究中將進行實驗研究以彌補不足。
[Abstract]:People use visual verbs to express abstract concepts such as thinking and spirit. At present, there are a lot of researches on visual verbs at home and abroad. However, there is little cross-linguistic research on the intrinsic mechanism of semantic extension of visual verbs. "Look" and "see" are the most frequently used and widely used in daily communication. This thesis mainly uses the contrastive analysis to explain the extension process of the meaning of "Look" and "look", and then to show the process of the extension of visual verb meaning and the cognitive mechanism. By referring to the authoritative English dictionaries and Chinese dictionaries, the author sorts their semantics and analyzes the extension of the word meaning of "Look" and "see", and draws the following conclusions: 1. "Look" and "see" have similar extension mechanisms. Metaphor and metonymy are the main extension mechanisms in the process of "Look" and "see". Some meanings are generated by the interaction of metaphor and metonymy. The meaning of "Look" and "see" extend the meaning of 'thinking', 'listening', 'reminding' and "drawing the attention of the other party" through metaphor. Through metonymy, "Look" and "see" derive from the archetypal meaning of "care, care". 2. There are differences in the extension mechanism between "Look" and "see". "Look" derives the meaning of "expectation" by metaphor. Under the interaction of metaphor and metonymy, "Look" has the meanings of 'oriented, oriented', 'evaluated' and so on. Under the influence of metonymy, "see" extends the meaning of "reading", "visiting" and "diagnosis and treatment" and so on. By metaphor, "see" derives the meaning of "choice". 3. In the process of extending the meaning of "Look" and "see", there are more semantics derived from metaphor than from metonymy. This study plays an important role in practice, especially in the field of vocabulary acquisition and lexicography. Although there are still some deficiencies in this study, experimental research will be carried out in the future to make up for the deficiencies.
