漢英禁忌語對比研究

【摘要】:禁忌是普遍存在在中西方文化中的一種文化和社會現(xiàn)象,反映在社會生活的各個方面,涉及的范圍非常廣,從個人生活到整個社會生活,禁忌現(xiàn)象幾乎無處不有,無時不在。禁忌語作為語言的變體同樣也具有一定的民族性,禁忌語背后所依托的是深刻的文化內(nèi)涵,,反映了民族的歷史沿革、傳統(tǒng)觀念、習俗禮儀、倫理道德、宗教信仰、價值觀念以及社會普遍心理特征,具有鮮明的民族特色。因此,通過分析和研究漢英禁忌語以及語言禁忌背后所依托的深層文化差異,可以幫助我們我們在文化交際中更加得體自如地使用所學語言。此外,掌握這些文化差異不僅可以增強我們的語言交際能力,還可以從中了解英語國家的社會心理和文化習俗,進一步了解西方文化,使跨文化交際更加有效。本文主要通過對比英、漢兩種語言中禁忌語相同和不同之處,分析禁忌語引起交際失誤的原因,探討隱藏在英漢兩種禁忌語中的文化的異同以及給跨文化交際帶來的啟示,使讀者對中英禁忌語有更深刻系統(tǒng)的了解,在跨文化交際中能夠中知己知彼,有效溝通。 本文共分為五個部分,每部分內(nèi)容如下: 第一部分主要介紹了本文的選題意義,中英禁忌語的國內(nèi)外研究現(xiàn)狀以及禁忌語概念的界定。第二部分主要從對神靈圣人名的禁忌、對褻瀆語、咒罵語的禁忌以及詞匯禁忌等三個方面分析了英漢禁忌語的相同之處。第三部分主要從顏色禁忌、數(shù)字禁忌、名字和稱謂上的禁忌,話題禁忌等四個方面分析了英漢禁忌語的不同之處。第四部分對禁忌語引起的跨文化交際失誤進行了舉例分析,分析禁忌語引起交際失誤的原因。第五部分進一步探討了在跨文化交際中如何避免使用禁忌語,使讀者對中英禁忌語有更深刻系統(tǒng)的了解,在跨文化交際中能夠中知己知彼,有效溝通。
[Abstract]:Taboo is a kind of cultural and social phenomenon in Chinese and western cultures, which is reflected in all aspects of social life and covers a wide range. From personal life to the whole social life, taboos are almost everywhere. Taboo language as a variant of language also has a certain national character. Behind the taboo language is a profound cultural connotation, which reflects the historical evolution of the nation, traditional concepts, customs and etiquette, ethics and morality, religious belief. Values and social general psychological characteristics, with distinct national characteristics. Therefore, by analyzing and studying the deep cultural differences between Chinese and English taboos and the underlying cultural differences behind language taboos, we can help us to use the language we have learned more appropriately and freely in cultural communication. In addition, mastering these cultural differences can not only enhance our communicative competence, but also understand the social psychology and cultural customs of English-speaking countries, further understand Western culture, and make cross-cultural communication more effective. By comparing the similarities and differences of taboo words between English and Chinese, this paper analyzes the causes of communicative errors caused by taboo words, and probes into the similarities and differences of cultures hidden in English and Chinese taboo words and their implications for cross-cultural communication. So that readers have a deeper and systematic understanding of Chinese and English taboos, and can effectively communicate with each other in cross-cultural communication. This paper is divided into five parts, each of which is as follows: the first part mainly introduces the significance of the topic, the domestic and foreign research status of Chinese and English taboo words and the definition of the concept of taboo words. The second part mainly analyzes the similarities of English and Chinese taboos from three aspects: the taboo of the name of the spirit and saint, the blasphemy, the taboo of cursing and the taboo of vocabulary. The third part mainly analyzes the differences between English and Chinese taboo words from four aspects: color taboo, digital taboo, name and address taboo, topic taboo. In the fourth part, the author makes an analysis of the cross-cultural communication errors caused by taboo words, and analyzes the causes of the cross-cultural communication errors caused by taboo words. The fifth part further discusses how to avoid the use of taboo words in cross-cultural communication, so that readers can have a deeper and systematic understanding of Sino-English taboo words, and can effectively communicate with each other in cross-cultural communication.
