【摘要】：本文旨在嘗試從女性主義角度對(duì)楊必譯作進(jìn)行研究。 女性主義自興起就引起了學(xué)術(shù)界的關(guān)注。女性主義宣揚(yáng)男女平等,它的出現(xiàn)意味著女性自我意識(shí)的覺(jué)醒。女性主義者試圖推翻男性主導(dǎo)的傳統(tǒng)社會(huì)等級(jí)制度,獲得女性話語(yǔ)權(quán)。女性主義運(yùn)動(dòng)的發(fā)展使女性開(kāi)始把眼光轉(zhuǎn)向家庭以外,對(duì)自身需求進(jìn)行思考。她們開(kāi)始將自身看成是獨(dú)立的個(gè)體,而非男性的“衍生物”。故此,女性主義者要求更多的權(quán)利與機(jī)遇,從而享有更多的自由和選擇。 女性主義的發(fā)展在許多領(lǐng)域產(chǎn)生了深遠(yuǎn)的影響,例如政治,經(jīng)濟(jì),文學(xué)。然而女性主義最初并未涉及翻譯,僅為文學(xué)批評(píng)的一個(gè)視角,而后才逐漸滲透到翻譯界。正如女權(quán)主義者強(qiáng)調(diào)女性地位的提升,女性主義翻譯家強(qiáng)調(diào)翻譯地位的彰顯。她們采用翻譯干預(yù)策略改寫(xiě)文本,以在翻譯中突顯女性話語(yǔ)。因性別差異在語(yǔ)言上有所表現(xiàn),女性主義譯者試圖在語(yǔ)言上彰顯女性身份。女性主義翻譯是一項(xiàng)大膽的舉動(dòng),因?yàn)樗匦露x了翻譯中“忠實(shí)”與“背叛”原則。一些較激進(jìn)的女性主義翻譯家甚至通過(guò)翻譯活動(dòng)達(dá)到政治目的。 楊必是中國(guó)具有代表性的譯者,其女性身份的特殊性及其精湛的翻譯技藝在翻譯介獨(dú)樹(shù)一幟。作者認(rèn)為,楊必的譯作《名利場(chǎng)》與《剝削世家》,特別是《名利場(chǎng)》是中國(guó)文學(xué)翻譯的典范,是翻譯研究的范本。而楊必的女性身份又為其譯作研究提供了一個(gè)新的角度。因此,本文作者認(rèn)為,從女性主義角度出發(fā)對(duì)楊必的譯作進(jìn)行研究具有重要的意義。 本文旨在確定楊必譯作是否受其女性身份影響,若受其影響,具體表現(xiàn)在哪些方面。本研究從以下幾個(gè)方面展開(kāi)。首先,本文作者從楊必的人生經(jīng)歷入手,探索人生經(jīng)歷對(duì)其女性主義思想及寫(xiě)作風(fēng)格形成的影響；然后,作者采用單一文本分析與對(duì)比分析相結(jié)合的方法對(duì)楊必譯作中女性主義翻譯策略的運(yùn)用做詳細(xì)分析,考察楊必的女性身份在其翻譯中的顯示。通過(guò)分析,本文作者發(fā)現(xiàn),楊必并非激進(jìn)的女性主義譯者,然而她在翻譯中卻也穿插運(yùn)用了女性主義翻譯策略,其女性身份也體現(xiàn)在語(yǔ)言的各個(gè)層面上。本文為楊必翻譯研究提供了一個(gè)新的角度,為日后從女性主義角度進(jìn)行文學(xué)翻譯研究拋磚引玉。
[Abstract]:The purpose of this thesis is to study the translation of Yang Bing from the perspective of feminism. Feminism has aroused the attention of academic circles since its rise. Feminism preaches equality between men and women, and its appearance means the awakening of female self-consciousness. Feminists try to overthrow the traditional social hierarchy dominated by men and gain women's voice. With the development of feminist movement, women begin to look beyond the family and think about their own needs. They began to see themselves as independent individuals, not as "derivatives" of men. Therefore, feminists demand more rights and opportunities to enjoy more freedom and choice. The development of feminism has had a profound influence in many fields, such as politics, economics and literature. However, feminism did not involve translation at first, but only as a visual angle of literary criticism, and then gradually penetrated into the field of translation. Just as feminists emphasize the advancement of women, so feminist translators emphasize the prominence of translation. They use translation intervention strategies to rewrite the text in order to highlight female discourse in translation. Because of gender differences, feminist translators try to show their female identity in language. Feminist translation is a bold move because it redefines the principles of "faithfulness" and "betrayal" in translation. Some more radical feminist translators even through translation activities to achieve political goals. Yang Bing is a representative translator in China. The author holds that Yang Bing's translation of Vanity Fair and exploitative Family, especially Vanity Fair, is a model of Chinese literary translation and a model for translation studies. Yang Bi's female identity provides a new angle for the study of his translation. Therefore, the author holds that it is of great significance to study Yang Bing's translation from the feminist perspective. The purpose of this paper is to determine whether Yang Bing's translation is influenced by his female identity, and if so, in what aspects. This study is carried out from the following aspects. First of all, the author starts with Yang Bi's life experience and explores the influence of life experience on the formation of his feminist thought and writing style. The author makes a detailed analysis of the use of feminist translation strategies in the translation of Yang Bing by combining a single text analysis with a contrastive analysis to investigate the display of Yang Bi's female identity in his translation. Through the analysis, the author finds that Yang Bi is not a radical feminist translator, but she also uses feminist translation strategies in translation, and her female identity is reflected in all aspects of language. This thesis provides a new perspective for the study of Yang Bing's translation.
