新聞博客言語交際中的話語標(biāo)記語研究
[Abstract]:Discourse markers are a very common and special language phenomenon in daily verbal communication. They do not belong to a particular syntactic form, but exist in a variety of forms, such as words, phrases or clauses; they often do not convey propositional or semantic meanings and do not constitute the semantic content of a discourse. It is to provide the address and restriction for the construction and understanding of discourse. In traditional linguistic studies, few people attach importance to discourse markers, which are considered to be superfluous elements in discourse and can be eliminated at any time, but with the development of discourse analysis, Linguists have come to realize that the special language phenomena such as discourse markers, which occur frequently in daily discourse, are of great significance in verbal communication. In the past twenty years, the study of discourse markers has made great progress at home and abroad. Some scholars have discussed the discourse markers from the perspectives of syntax, semantics, pragmatics, cognition and so on, but they have been defined and classified. The understanding of function is far from uniform and has not yet formed a systematic theoretical framework and research model, and the existing research is mainly on the theoretical study of discourse markers in general linguistic phenomena. However, there are few empirical studies on discourse markers in specific verbal communication. Therefore, the empirical study of discourse markers in specific forms of verbal communication has important theoretical and practical significance. This paper attempts to make an empirical study of the use of discourse markers in English News blog, a specific form of verbal communication, using the communicative discourse in American news blogs as the corpus. The verbal communication in the news blog is a new form of verbal communication, which is different from the traditional form of verbal communication. It has a new communication environment, communication methods and so on. Therefore, the use of discourse markers in this kind of verbal communication must have its unique characteristics. Based on Bruce Fraser's study of discourse markers and the combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches, this paper identifies, counts and classifies discourse markers in the verbal communication of English news blogs. This paper analyzes and compares the distribution of different discourse markers and different categories of discourse markers in this particular speech communication, and probes into the specific functions of different types of discourse markers in this kind of speech communication. It also analyzes the underlying factors that influence the use of discourse markers in this form of communication. In this study, it is found that in the special verbal communication of news blog, relatively common, simple, colloquial discourse address language is used more, but more formal and complex written discourse markers are used less; In different types of discourse markers, the use of parallel addressable markers and contrastive markers is more than that of thematic transformative markers. In this verbal communication, parallel attributive markers and contrastive markers mainly help the communicators to express their intentions and promote the understanding of the utterances in order to make the communication go smoothly. Thematic transformative markers are mainly used to control the topic in this verbal communication. This paper also analyzes the features of the use of address language in the verbal communication of news blogs, which are different from those of general verbal communication. In this special verbal communication, the communicator comments, expresses, and communicates the communicative intention of their own views on the news topic in the blog. The generality and flexibility of some discourse markers are the main factors that affect the use of discourse markers in the verbal communication of news blogs.
