【摘要】：互聯(lián)網(wǎng)的誕生將我們?nèi)祟?lèi)居住的地球變成了“地球村”，人與人的交流日益頻繁，信息量不斷增加。專家估計(jì)，我們目前在互聯(lián)網(wǎng)上傳輸?shù)臄?shù)據(jù)量之大，已經(jīng)超過(guò)了整個(gè)19世紀(jì)的全部數(shù)據(jù)的總和；我們?cè)?1世紀(jì)所要處理的知識(shí)總量將要大大超過(guò)我們?cè)谶^(guò)去2500年歷史長(zhǎng)河中所積累起來(lái)的全部知識(shí)總量。需要翻譯的信息量也更加龐大、涵蓋面更廣泛、題材體裁更豐富。 為了應(yīng)付信息爆炸的情況，為了使人類(lèi)可以更加通暢、及時(shí)地溝通，科學(xué)家們期望用機(jī)器來(lái)幫助人們。我們渴望有這樣一種機(jī)器，可以自動(dòng)、即時(shí)、準(zhǔn)確地將一種語(yǔ)言翻譯成另外一種語(yǔ)言，，解除人類(lèi)交流過(guò)程中的語(yǔ)言障礙。 自20世紀(jì)50年代機(jī)器翻譯系統(tǒng)誕生以來(lái)，科學(xué)家們研制了很多機(jī)器翻譯系統(tǒng)，對(duì)人類(lèi)的溝通交流確實(shí)起到了幫助的作用，但是機(jī)器翻譯仍然存在一些缺陷。比如：在翻譯的過(guò)程中，機(jī)器不能考慮源語(yǔ)言和目標(biāo)語(yǔ)言國(guó)家的文化背景，以及作者的背景等，在一詞多義的情況下，不能選擇最恰當(dāng)?shù)哪莻�(gè)詞義，并且在翻譯成目標(biāo)語(yǔ)后，句子結(jié)構(gòu)以及語(yǔ)序會(huì)出現(xiàn)一些問(wèn)題。 本文作者通過(guò)閱讀大量的機(jī)器翻譯方面的書(shū)籍，介紹了機(jī)器翻譯在全世界以及在中國(guó)的發(fā)展歷史，機(jī)器翻譯系統(tǒng)所采用的方法。然后借助谷歌翻譯，按照“簡(jiǎn)單句—復(fù)合句—復(fù)雜句—段落”的順序，對(duì)比分析了人機(jī)英漢翻譯。最后了解了機(jī)器翻譯目前的局限所在，并提出改進(jìn)的建議。作者對(duì)機(jī)器翻譯的明天充滿希望。
[Abstract]:The birth of the Internet has turned the earth we live in into a "global village". The communication between people is becoming more and more frequent and the amount of information is increasing. Experts estimate that the amount of data we transmit on the Internet now exceeds the sum of all the data of the 19th century; The total amount of knowledge we have to deal with in the 21st century will be much larger than the total amount of knowledge we have accumulated in the course of the past 2500 years. The amount of information needed to be translated is also larger, the coverage is wider, and the genre of subjects is more abundant. In order to cope with the information explosion and to make human communication more smooth and timely, scientists expect to use machines to help people. We yearn for a machine that can automatically, instantly, accurately translate one language into another, removing the language barrier in human communication. Since the birth of machine translation system in the 1950s, many machine translation systems have been developed by scientists, which can help human communication and communication, but there are still some defects in machine translation. For example, in the process of translation, the machine cannot take into account the cultural background of the country of the source language and the target language, as well as the background of the author, etc. In the case of polysemy, one cannot choose the most appropriate meaning, and after translation into the target language, There are some problems with sentence structure and word order. By reading a large number of books on machine translation, the author introduces the development history of machine translation in the world and in China, and the methods used in machine translation system. Then, with the help of Google translation, the author compares and analyzes the English-Chinese translation in the order of "simple sentence-compound sentence-complex sentence-paragraph". Finally, the limitations of machine translation are understood, and suggestions for improvement are put forward. The author is full of hope for the future of machine translation.
