中英歌曲中“愛(ài)”隱喻的認(rèn)知比較研究

【摘要】:情感是人類(lèi)最重要的生命體驗(yàn),而“愛(ài)”是最神圣最崇高的情感。可以說(shuō),“愛(ài)”是一種高度抽象的復(fù)雜概念,"Love/愛(ài)”這一詞語(yǔ)相對(duì)其他詞語(yǔ)來(lái)說(shuō)有著最為豐富的涵義。因此,人們通常借助具體的有形的事物描述“愛(ài)”的情感。自從20世紀(jì)80年代以來(lái),中外許多學(xué)者對(duì)人類(lèi)的各種情感做了大量研究,其中對(duì)“愛(ài)”的研究尤其重視,只是大部分著作和研究都把“愛(ài)”作為愛(ài)情來(lái)闡釋,但事實(shí)上"I love you/我愛(ài)你”不僅僅被用于愛(ài)人之間,也被廣泛用于表達(dá)親情和友情(《美國(guó)傳統(tǒng)英語(yǔ)字典》1982)。親情和友情中的愛(ài)也是人類(lèi)情感中不可缺少的部分,可是在以往的研究中卻被忽略了。國(guó)外語(yǔ)言學(xué)界對(duì)“愛(ài)”隱喻的研究文獻(xiàn)頗豐,但也是主要集中在將“愛(ài)”隱喻界定為愛(ài)情隱喻的研究。國(guó)內(nèi)對(duì)此的研究還不夠深入。 本文以“愛(ài)”的概念隱喻為研究對(duì)象,將“愛(ài)”分為愛(ài)情,親情和友情這三個(gè)涵義,從認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)視角對(duì)“愛(ài)”隱喻進(jìn)行比較詳細(xì)的研究,旨在發(fā)掘英漢“愛(ài)”的概念隱喻的共性和差異,因此,本文擬對(duì)下面三個(gè)問(wèn)題作出回答:(1)什么是“愛(ài)”隱喻?(2)從中英歌曲中搜集的語(yǔ)料可以歸納出中英“愛(ài)”隱喻有什么共性和差異?(3)這種共性和差異的背后原因是什么? 本文首先分類(lèi)分析語(yǔ)料,根據(jù)愛(ài)情,親情和友情這三個(gè)涵義分別歸納總結(jié)出中英歌曲中“愛(ài)”的隱喻,以這三種涵義之間的關(guān)系為依托,詳細(xì)分析這三種涵義的“愛(ài)”隱喻之間所呈現(xiàn)出來(lái)的共性和差異,研究發(fā)現(xiàn),在表達(dá)愛(ài)情的“愛(ài)”隱喻中,英漢語(yǔ)有許多相同的“愛(ài)”隱喻,例如英漢語(yǔ)中都有愛(ài)是戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng),愛(ài)是物體,愛(ài)是珍貴的物體,愛(ài)是瘋狂等等;同時(shí),英漢語(yǔ)各自又有獨(dú)特的“愛(ài)”概念隱喻,如:在英語(yǔ)中有愛(ài)是合二為一(兩個(gè)互補(bǔ)的部分組成整體),愛(ài)是太陽(yáng)等,在漢語(yǔ)中有愛(ài)是緣分,愛(ài)是絲綢,愛(ài)是合二為一(兩個(gè)不分離的個(gè)體組成陰陽(yáng)一對(duì)),愛(ài)是月亮等。在表達(dá)親情的“愛(ài)”隱喻中,情況也是一樣,存在共性和差異。相同的親情“愛(ài)”隱喻有愛(ài)是旅程,愛(ài)是商品。愛(ài)是滋養(yǎng)品,愛(ài)的對(duì)象是珍貴的物體,愛(ài)是機(jī)器等等;英語(yǔ)中特有的是與上帝有關(guān)的愛(ài)隱喻,愛(ài)是太陽(yáng)或光,漢語(yǔ)中特有與佛教有關(guān)的愛(ài)隱喻,愛(ài)是絲或棉,愛(ài)是恩惠,愛(ài)是月亮等。在表達(dá)友情的“愛(ài)”隱喻中相同的“愛(ài)”隱喻有愛(ài)是擁有的物體,愛(ài)是商品,愛(ài)是管道等;同時(shí),中英友情的愛(ài)隱喻中也各自存在不同的隱喻,例如,英語(yǔ)中有愛(ài)是太陽(yáng)或光,漢語(yǔ)中有愛(ài)是緣分,愛(ài)是絲或紐帶等。 由此可見(jiàn),愛(ài)情,親情和友情中都同樣呈現(xiàn)了英漢語(yǔ)“愛(ài)”隱喻的共性和差異。本文從身體經(jīng)驗(yàn)和生活經(jīng)驗(yàn)方面對(duì)存在共性的原因進(jìn)行分析,從自然環(huán)境,文化背景方面對(duì)產(chǎn)生差異的原因進(jìn)行分析,其中文化背景包括對(duì)宗教信仰,不同的社會(huì)歷史發(fā)展軌跡,思想哲學(xué)基礎(chǔ)和世界觀、價(jià)值觀等的分析。更好地了解這種共性和差異背后的深層思維認(rèn)知原因,文化和社會(huì)原因。 基于以上討論,本文從認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)的視角從一個(gè)新角度為“愛(ài)”隱喻的研究提供了支持并豐富了“愛(ài)”隱喻的研究。對(duì)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)者、翻譯工作者以及跨文化交流具有參考價(jià)值。
[Abstract]:Emotion is the most important human life experience, and "love" is the most sacred and noble emotions. It can be said that "love" is a complex and highly abstract concepts, "Love/ love" this words relative to other words with the most abundant meaning. Therefore, people usually by tangible things out the description of "love" feelings. Since 1980s, many Chinese and foreign scholars on human emotions to do a lot of research, including research on the "love" in particular attention, but most research works and the "love" as the love to explain, but in fact the "I love you/" not only was I love you for lovers, are also widely used to express affection and friendship ("the American Heritage Dictionary >1982). Kinship and friendship in love is also an indispensable part of human emotion, but in previous studies of foreign language is ignored. The literature about metaphor of love is quite abundant in academic circles, but it also focuses on the study of "love" metaphor as a metaphor for love.
Based on the conceptual metaphors of "love" as the research object, "love" is divided into love, affection and friendship of the three meaning, from the perspective of cognitive linguistics for a detailed study on the "love" between English and Chinese metaphor, aims to explore the "love" of the similarities and differences of conceptual metaphor, therefore, this paper intends to answer the following three questions: (1) what is the "love" metaphor? (2) collected from English songs in the corpus can be summed up in the "love" metaphor is what similarities and differences? (3) what is the reason behind the similarities and differences?
Firstly, according to the classification of data analysis, love, affection and friendship of the three meaning were summed up in the English song "love" in metaphor, the relationship between these three meanings based on the detailed analysis of the three meanings of "love" metaphor between the similarities and differences, the study found that the expression of love metaphor of "love" in English and Chinese have many of the same "love" metaphor, such as English and Chinese have love is war, love is the object, love is precious objects, love is crazy and so on; at the same time, Chinese and English each have unique "love" conceptual metaphor, such as: in English there is love is be made one (two complementary parts of the whole, love is the sun), in Chinese, love is fate, love is love is to be made one silk (two isolated individuals of yin and Yang), love is the moon. In metaphor expression of affection "of love" That is the same, there are similarities and differences. The same family love metaphor love is a journey, love is commodity. Love is nourishment, the object of love is precious objects, love is the machine and so on; English is the unique metaphor and love God, love is the sun or light, special love the Chinese metaphor related to Buddhism, love is silk or cotton, love is kindness, love is the moon. Metaphor in the metaphorical expression of friendship "love" in the same "love" love with objects, love is a commodity, love is at the same time, pipeline; Love Metaphors in friendship also each have different metaphor, for example, in English there is love is the sun or light, Chinese love is fate, love is a wire or link.
Thus, love, affection and friendship in both English and Chinese show "love" metaphor of the similarities and differences. This paper analyzes the causes of commonness from body experience and life experience, from the natural environment, analyze the causes of the differences of the cultural background, the cultural background of different religious beliefs. The trajectory of the development of social history, philosophy basis and world view, analysis values. To better understand the deep reasons behind the cognitive similarities and differences of this, cultural and social reasons.
Based on the above discussion, this paper provides a support for the study of "love" metaphor from a new perspective from the perspective of cognitive linguistics, and enriches the research of "love" metaphor. It has reference value for English learners, translators and cross-cultural communication.
