【摘要】：《紅樓夢》被譽(yù)為中國古典小說的巔峰之作,是中國文化和語言的百科全書。曹雪芹為了盡量隱藏書中描寫的家族故事和歷史事實(shí),在寫作過程中嘗試運(yùn)用了多種手段如雙關(guān)、象征等,而這些寫作手法給譯者帶來極大地挑戰(zhàn)。本文將運(yùn)用Delabastita的雙關(guān)語翻譯理論來分析李志華本《紅樓夢》的雙關(guān)語翻譯策略,研究他的翻譯觀。 歷來人們認(rèn)為雙關(guān)語不可譯,但是Delabastita并不贊同。在其研究莎士比亞雙關(guān)語翻譯的基礎(chǔ)上,他提出了一套雙關(guān)語的翻譯策略：雙關(guān)語譯為雙關(guān)語,雙關(guān)語譯為非雙關(guān)語,雙關(guān)語譯為相關(guān)修辭技巧,雙關(guān)語譯為零,照抄原文,非雙關(guān)語譯為雙關(guān)語,零譯為雙關(guān)語以及編輯手段。 這些策略又可以進(jìn)一步分為兩大類：第一類偏重于譯文的充分性,包括雙關(guān)語譯為非雙關(guān)語,照抄原文和編輯手段三種。另一類偏重于譯文的可接受性,包括雙關(guān)語譯為相關(guān)修辭技巧,雙關(guān)語譯為零,非雙關(guān)語譯為雙關(guān)語和零譯為雙關(guān)語四種。而雙關(guān)語譯為雙關(guān)語則兩者兼顧。通過分析譯者所采用的雙關(guān)語翻譯策略,可以揭示他是偏重于譯文的充分性還是可接受性。 本文中主要從四個(gè)類型的雙關(guān)語的翻譯來進(jìn)行研究：地名雙關(guān),人名雙關(guān),詩歌中的雙關(guān)以及對話中的雙關(guān)。在分析了李志華本《紅樓夢》的雙關(guān)語翻譯策略后,結(jié)果顯示在翻譯雙關(guān)語方面,譯者更加注重文本的充分性。
[Abstract]:A Dream of Red Mansions, known as the peak of Chinese classical novels, is an encyclopedia of Chinese culture and language. In order to hide as much as possible the family stories and historical facts described in the book, Cao Xueqin tried to use a variety of means such as puns in his writing process. Using Delabastita's pun translation theory to analyze the translation strategies of Li Zhihua's A Dream of Red Mansions, and to study his translation view. It has always been thought that puns are untranslatable, but Delabastita does not agree. On the basis of his research on the translation of Shakespeare's puns, he puts forward a set of translation strategies for puns: puns are translated into puns and puns are translated into non-puns. Puns are translated as rhetorical skills, puns are translated as zero, the original text is copied, non-puns are translated into puns, zero is translated into puns, and editorial means are used. These strategies can be further divided into two broad categories: the first is focused on the adequacy of the translation, including pun translation into non-puns, copying of the original text and editing methods, and the other on the acceptability of the target text. There are four kinds of puns, including puns translation, puns translation as zero, non-puns translation as pun and zero translation as pun, and pun translation as pun is both of them. By analyzing the translation strategies adopted by the translator, the puns are translated into two parts: pun translation, pun translation, pun translation and pun translation. It can be revealed whether he is partial to the adequacy or acceptability of the translation. This paper focuses on the translation of four types of pun: place name pun, name pun, pun in poetry and pun in dialogue. After analyzing the translation strategies of puns in Li Zhihua's A Dream of Red Mansions, this paper analyzes the translation strategies of puns in Li Zhihua's A Dream of Red Mansions. The results show that the translator pays more attention to the adequacy of the text in the translation of puns.
