【摘要】：隨著經(jīng)濟全球化和高科技的發(fā)展,世界各國人民的交流日趨頻繁,交流的方式也呈現(xiàn)多樣化,因此跨文化交際作為專門研究文化差異性的學(xué)科應(yīng)運而生,并影響到其他各領(lǐng)域。因為文化差異性的存在,所以語言學(xué)家和社會學(xué)家不斷探索各種文化研究模式來量化和對比種種不同點。總體來說,主流文化間的差異主要存在于東西方之間,這兩方有各自的文化模式和交際原則。文化學(xué)家愛德華.霍爾提出了語境文化理論,他認為交際過程中信息傳遞的準確性離不開傳遞過程所處的語境,語境中隱含的大量信息是保證所傳遞信息準確性的必要條件。根據(jù)語境中所隱含的信息量的大小和傳遞的信息中隱性信息、顯性信息所占的比例,霍爾將其分為高語境文化和低語境文化。高語境文化中語境攜帶的信息量大,所以在交際過程中通過語言編碼傳遞的信息量較��；相反,在低語境文化中,主要的信息需要通過語言編碼來實現(xiàn)。高語境文化和低語境文化對時間的觀點也存在著截然不同的看法,高語境文化影響的國家以過去時間取向為主,注重歷史和過去的經(jīng)驗、時間松散、時間量詞相對較為模糊、對年齡較為尊重；大多數(shù)西方國家受低語境文化影響,它們以將來時間取向為主、時間安排高度計劃,高度精確、對年齡的看法也和高語境文化截然相反、時間量詞相對精確。本文以霍爾的高、低語境文化為理論依據(jù),通過探索形成語境文化差異的原因來分析形成時間取向差異的原因,并以解決時間取向差異引發(fā)的文化沖突為主要目的來進行論證。本文引用了霍爾以及其他語言學(xué)家的統(tǒng)計數(shù)據(jù),東方佛教、道教、儒家思想以及西方基督教思想對語境文化和時間取向的深遠影響,歷史的影響,并且結(jié)合中美兩國常見的時間量詞、對年齡和“老”的看法、時間取向、有關(guān)時間的俚語、成語等方面來進行時間取向的對比分析,并提出解決沖突的策略。
[Abstract]:With the development of economic globalization and high technology, the communication between people all over the world is becoming more and more frequent and the ways of communication are diversified. Therefore, intercultural communication, as a subject specialized in studying cultural differences, has emerged as the times require. Because of the existence of cultural differences, linguists and sociologists continue to explore various cultural research models to quantify and contrast the differences. The differences between the mainstream cultures mainly exist between the East and the West. The two sides have their own cultural models and communication principles. The cultural scientist Edward Hall has put forward the theory of contextual culture. He believes that the accuracy of information transmission in the communication process can not be separated from the context in which the communication process is conducted. The large amount of information implied in the context is a necessary condition to ensure the accuracy of the information transmitted. According to the size of the information implied in the context and the proportion of the implicit information in the transmitted information, the proportion of explicit information, Hall divides it into high context culture and low context culture. In high context culture, context carries a large amount of information, so the amount of information transmitted through language coding in communication process is relatively small; on the contrary, in low context culture, The main information needs to be realized by language coding. There are also different views on time in high context culture and low context culture. Countries with high context culture influence mainly on past time orientation and pay attention to history and past experience. Time is loose, time quantifiers are relatively vague and respect for age. Most western countries are influenced by low context culture. They are mainly in the future time orientation, highly planned and highly accurate. The view of age is opposite to that of high context culture, and time quantifiers are relatively accurate. Based on Hall's culture of high and low context, this paper analyzes the reasons for the difference in time orientation by exploring the causes of the cultural differences in context. The main purpose of this paper is to solve the cultural conflict caused by the difference of time orientation. This paper cites the statistical data of Hall and other linguists, Eastern Buddhism, Taoism, The profound influence of Confucianism and Western Christianity on contextual culture and time orientation, the influence of history, and combined with the common time quantifiers, views on age and "old", time orientation, and slang about time in China and the United States, Idioms and other aspects of the comparative analysis of time orientation, and put forward strategies to resolve the conflict.
