【摘要】：言語(yǔ)禮貌存在于各種語(yǔ)言中。在人們的日常交往中起著重要的作用。為此,語(yǔ)用學(xué)者們從不同角度對(duì)其進(jìn)行研究并提出了自己的理論,但是所有的這些理論研究都有其局限性。Brown and Levinson的禮貌觀是一種“面子”理論。然而他們的研究主要針對(duì)的是禮貌策略,因此該理論沒(méi)有解釋禮貌現(xiàn)象。Lakoff指出清晰和禮貌是語(yǔ)言使用的規(guī)則,但是她并沒(méi)有說(shuō)明禮貌應(yīng)達(dá)到的程度。Leech提出的“禮貌原則”也被指出是脫離語(yǔ)境的言語(yǔ)禮貌。中國(guó)學(xué)者顧曰國(guó)從跨文化角度對(duì)禮貌進(jìn)行了研究,但是該理論也只能解釋特定文化的禮貌現(xiàn)象。這些理論研究之所以有明顯的缺陷,首先是因?yàn)檎Z(yǔ)用學(xué)者們沒(méi)有對(duì)言語(yǔ)禮貌的概念及其特征進(jìn)行很好的解釋說(shuō)明。其次,這些理論只是對(duì)言語(yǔ)禮貌進(jìn)行了片面的研究,不能對(duì)交際中的言語(yǔ)禮貌做出全面的解釋。 因此,本文應(yīng)用順應(yīng)理論作為理論框架來(lái)探究言語(yǔ)禮貌。該理論具有較強(qiáng)的解釋力,它從全新的研究視角對(duì)言語(yǔ)禮貌做出了全面的解釋。 本篇文章主體部分由序言,三個(gè)章節(jié)及結(jié)論構(gòu)成。序言是對(duì)論文的簡(jiǎn)要介紹。第一章回顧了國(guó)內(nèi)外學(xué)者對(duì)禮貌的研究,指出了他們?cè)趯?duì)禮貌解釋上的不足之處。第二章對(duì)順應(yīng)理論進(jìn)行了闡釋。第三章運(yùn)用順應(yīng)理論來(lái)研究言語(yǔ)禮貌。本章節(jié)首先對(duì)言語(yǔ)禮貌的概念和特征進(jìn)行了說(shuō)明,進(jìn)而根據(jù)其特征運(yùn)用順應(yīng)理論從幾個(gè)方面進(jìn)行分析,對(duì)其遵循的內(nèi)在規(guī)律給出了全面的闡述和解釋。最后是結(jié)論部分。 本文認(rèn)為,順應(yīng)理論能更加合理和全面的對(duì)言語(yǔ)禮貌進(jìn)行研究。
[Abstract]:Speech politeness exists in all kinds of languages and plays an important role in people's daily communication. Therefore, pragmatics have studied it from different angles and put forward their own theories. But all these theoretical studies have their limitations. Brown and Levinson's politeness view is a kind of "face" theory. However, their research mainly focuses on politeness strategies. So the theory doesn't explain politeness. Lakoff points out that clarity and politeness are the rules of language use. However, she did not specify the degree of politeness. Leech's Politeness principle was also pointed out as a contextual politeness. Gu Yueguo, a Chinese scholar, studied politeness from a cross-cultural perspective. However, this theory can only explain the phenomenon of politeness in a particular culture. The reason why these theories have obvious defects is that pragmatists have not explained the concept and characteristics of speech politeness well. These theories only make a one-sided study of speech politeness, and can not give a comprehensive explanation of speech politeness in communication. Therefore, this paper uses the theory of adaptation as the theoretical framework to explore speech politeness, which has a strong explanatory power and makes a comprehensive explanation of speech politeness from a new perspective. The main part of this paper is composed of preface, three chapters and conclusions. The preface is a brief introduction to the thesis. Chapter one reviews the researches on politeness made by scholars both at home and abroad. It points out their shortcomings in explaining politeness. Chapter two explains the theory of adaptation. Chapter three studies speech politeness by using the theory of adaptation. This chapter first explains the concept and characteristics of speech politeness. Then, according to its characteristics, the adaptation theory is used to analyze it from several aspects, and an overall explanation of its internal law is given. The last part is the conclusion. This paper argues that the theory of adaptation can make a more reasonable and comprehensive study of verbal politeness.
