【摘要】：語言離格是跨文化交際中一種常見現(xiàn)象。在過去的幾十年間,通訊和交通技術(shù)迅速發(fā)展,促使越來越多的中國人參與到跨文化交際活動中,需要用英語同本族語人交流。但是部分說英語的中國人并不能像本族語人那樣得體地使用地道英語。他們常常會使用一些讓本族語人聽上去怪異或者不符合英語語用規(guī)則的表達。很多學者和研究人員都曾對這種離格英語進行了批判。但也有部分人認為,要求非本族語人像本族語人那樣地道地使用英語過于苛刻。有調(diào)查表明,本族語人在很多情況下可以容忍非本族語人的語言離格。此外,很多原本看上去離格的英語表達已經(jīng)被本族語人接受,成為英語詞匯的一部分。 本論文從辯證的角度看待離格,認為跨文化交際中的離格現(xiàn)象具有一定的可接受性,且這種可接受性是有限度的。但其可接受的原因是復雜的,不可能單從某一個方面做出確切的解釋。離格包括外族人因英語水平不高而導致的離格,以及外族人因母語文化和英語文化之間的差導致的離格。所以,其可接受性應與語言、相關(guān)文化因素及語言使用者有關(guān)。因此,需要從多角度對其可接受性進行全面分析。 維索爾倫就語用學提出了語言順應論的新觀點。該理論擴展了語境的概念,為從語用角度研究語言行為提供了新的視角。語言順應論為語用分析創(chuàng)建了科學合理的理論框架,為研究交際中的語言現(xiàn)象提供了有效的工具。根據(jù)順應論觀點,語言的使用包括連續(xù)不斷的語言選擇。交際過程中,語境和語言結(jié)構(gòu)在語言使用者思維作用下互相順應,且這種相互順應是動態(tài)的過程。本文以順應論為理論框架,從語言與語境的相互順應角度,綜合分析離格現(xiàn)象的可接受性及其限度。 本文對跨文化交際中語言離格現(xiàn)象可接受性進行辯證分析,以期為實際交際中如何處理中西文化差異以及外語教學中教師如何進行語用教學提供一些有益的啟示。
[Abstract]:Language deviation is a common phenomenon in cross-cultural communication. In the past few decades, the rapid development of communication and transportation technology has prompted more and more Chinese people to participate in cross-cultural communication activities. It is necessary to communicate with native speakers in English. But some Chinese who speak English do not use authentic English as properly as native speakers. They often use something that makes native speakers sound weird or unsuitable for English. The expression of pragmatic rules has been criticized by many scholars and researchers. It is too harsh to require non-native speakers to use English in the same way as native speakers. Surveys have shown that native speakers can in many cases tolerate language departures from non-native speakers. Many seemingly detached expressions have been accepted by native speakers as part of English vocabulary. This thesis looks at the case from a dialectical point of view, and holds that the phenomenon of deviance in cross-cultural communication is acceptable to a certain extent, and that there is a limit to this acceptability, but the reasons for its acceptability are complex. It is impossible to make a definite explanation from one aspect alone. Deviations include those caused by the low level of English among the Gentiles and the differences between the native culture and the English culture among the Gentiles. Its acceptability should be related to language, relevant cultural factors and language users. Versolren puts forward a new viewpoint of linguistic adaptation theory on pragmatics, which extends the concept of context. It provides a new perspective for the study of language behavior from a pragmatic point of view. Linguistic adaptation theory creates a scientific and reasonable theoretical framework for pragmatic analysis. It provides an effective tool for the study of linguistic phenomena in communication. According to adaptation Theory, language use includes continuous choice of language. Context and language structure adapt to each other under the influence of language users' thinking, and this mutual adaptation is a dynamic process. This paper takes adaptation theory as the theoretical framework, from the perspective of language and context mutual adaptation. A comprehensive analysis of the acceptability and its limits of the case phenomenon is presented. This paper makes a dialectical analysis of the acceptability of the phenomenon of language deviation in cross-cultural communication. The purpose of this paper is to provide some useful enlightenment on how to deal with the differences between Chinese and Western cultures in practical communication and how to teach pragmatics in foreign language teaching.
