【摘要】： 生活中廣泛存在的演講、廣告、新聞報道與社論等話語引發(fā)我們思考:作為交際事件,這些話語中的交際雙方是如何進行交流、溝通并最終就某一問題或事件取得一致意見、達成臨時協(xié)議的?經(jīng)觀察我們發(fā)現(xiàn)它們與修辭學研究的傳統(tǒng)的公眾演說是一脈相承的,有著內(nèi)在的共性,即交際雙方通過多維度、多層面的象征性互動來取得相互認同、達成暫時性的統(tǒng)一,并最終實現(xiàn)各自的交際目的。據(jù)此,為了方便研究這些話語,我們借用舊的命名法“演講”來統(tǒng)指它們,但賦予它新的內(nèi)涵,將它重新界定為:由各式各樣象征性互動組成的特殊話語,它通過人們在特定情景中就面臨的爭議性問題進行相互致辭、互動來取得對相關(guān)問題的臨時性意見一致。這樣,本研究就是致力于探索從演講者與受眾雙方的象征性互動入手來分析這些演講話語的恰當且有效的方法,從而取得更好的解讀效果。 查閱相關(guān)文獻發(fā)現(xiàn)已有的演講批評解讀研究主要有兩大領(lǐng)域:一個是修辭批評;另一個是話語分析。但是,它們的方法都沒能滿足從多維度、多層面象征性互動的視角對演講話語進行有效解讀的需要。在修辭批評方面,從現(xiàn)有的二十種方法中,本研究依據(jù)它們與象征性互動的關(guān)系歸納總結(jié)成五大類演講修辭批評:“演講者為中心型”,“意識形態(tài)或動機著迷型”,“效果驅(qū)動型”,“語境導向型”以及“批評者決定型”。在話語分析方面,本研究依據(jù)語言因素與非語言變量之間的關(guān)系概括了三類演講話語分析的趨勢:語篇內(nèi)部的微觀語言因素分析,語篇外部的宏觀語境研究,以及兩者相結(jié)合來研究語篇與社會語境的互動關(guān)系。雖然這些研究方法從不同角度為演講話語的解讀提供參考與指導意見,但是它們各自存在的傾向與不同程度的缺陷妨礙它們將注意力投向演講者與受眾的象征性互動上來。本研究正是為彌補這些缺陷、探索演講中各個層面的多維互動而設(shè)置的。 對演講要素與作用的剖析證實了本研究的假設(shè):演講話語是由一系列的象征性互動構(gòu)成的,所以恰當而有效的解讀方式應(yīng)該是綜合考慮其生產(chǎn)與消費,注重演講者與受眾之間的雙向互動。進一步考察演講與修辭學和語言學在理論與實踐上的關(guān)系,發(fā)現(xiàn)演講與修辭是相互依存的,而語言則是演講話語生產(chǎn)與解讀不可或缺的重要因素,并且修辭學與語言學在演講話語的解讀與批評中的作用是互補性的。因此,在吸收前人研究成果的精華的基礎(chǔ)上,本研究嘗試著融合并發(fā)展修辭學與語言學的相關(guān)理論與方法從象征性互動的角度來解讀演講話語。 從修辭學中,本研究吸收并發(fā)展了古希臘Sophists的“辯證法”和Aristotle的三種“或然式論據(jù)”,古羅馬Hermagoras與Cicero的“爭議點理論”,以及現(xiàn)當代Lloyd Bitzer的修辭情景、Kenneth Burke的認同理論、Cha?m Perelman和Lucie Olbrechts-Tyteca的“普世受眾”與“普世價值”、Wayne C. Booth的“求同修辭”與“理想的修辭”以及Stephen Toulmin的“論辯模式”。之所以選擇這些理論與主張是因為其中蘊含了豐富的象征性互動的思想、方法與策略,代表了“演講者主導型”與“受眾加權(quán)型”的互動思想,同時也展現(xiàn)了語篇內(nèi)部的互動關(guān)系。此外,分析還表明現(xiàn)當代修辭學家Burke,Perelman Olbrechts-Tyteca,Booth及Toulmin的思想是一脈相承的,共同揭示了修辭作為交際藝術(shù)其本質(zhì)是一種由兩個互為因果關(guān)系的認同過程組成的認同性互動。因此,他們的理論主張能從不同角度為人們提供解讀演講話語互動的方法。 從語言學中,本研究借鑒了Beaugrande和Dressler的四個語篇性并依據(jù)演講話語的特點將它們發(fā)展成“話語性”,分別是目的性、可接受性、互文性及互語境性。目的性和可接受性有助于人們考察基于語篇的篇內(nèi)互動,反映了在語篇建構(gòu)中演講者的目的及受眾的期望與語境的象征性談判與妥協(xié);而互文性和互語境性則展現(xiàn)了基于語境的篇外互動,體現(xiàn)了演講者與受眾圍繞語境展開的各種互動,包括語篇類型、語篇典故、前語境和后語境的選擇與建構(gòu),以及這些語境因素與語篇建構(gòu)的相互影響等等。 融合修辭學的理論與語言學的原理,即依據(jù)語言學的“話語性”提供的線索,運用修辭的理論與策略,本研究對演講話語進行了多層面的探索,建立了三維框架為從象征性互動的視角批評解讀演講話語提供意識與方向指導。一,重建語境。這反映了演講者與受眾如何依據(jù)各自的目的,通過與相對自然的宏觀語境的互動來共同建構(gòu)演講話語的特定語境,其中包含了三個層面的互動:語境與演講者、語境與受眾以及語境與演講語篇。二,揭示受眾與演講者之間的象征性權(quán)力關(guān)系。一方面受眾是演講成敗的決定者,因而能夠“迫使”演講者在各層面的互動中迎合他們,順應(yīng)他們的特點及各種制約性變量;另一方面演講者卻有權(quán)決定受眾的資格以及參加演講互動的身份,是預期的理想受眾、還是虛受眾、亦或是非受眾。演講者的這種權(quán)力源于他/她訴諸修辭策略的能力,其中重塑并投射有利的修辭人格就是有效的手段之一。三,解構(gòu)演講語篇。利用Toulmin的論辯模式,從論辯的視角觀察語篇中的各種互動關(guān)系。為展現(xiàn)這個框架在演講批評中的具體運用,本研究分析了一些演講話語,例如政策宣傳、公眾演說、報道、社論、聲明、公告以及廣告等等。 在探索批評解讀演講話語新途徑的過程中,本研究發(fā)現(xiàn)了一系列的關(guān)系,涉及到演講與修辭學、演講與語言學以及修辭學與語言學,揭示了演講的象征性互動本質(zhì)以及修辭的雙程認同性本質(zhì),探索了演講者與受眾之間的象征性權(quán)力關(guān)系,并在此基礎(chǔ)上建立了一個系統(tǒng)的、可執(zhí)行的、綜合了修辭學與語言學的三維框架從象征性互動的視角來解讀演講話語。這些必將為今后演講話語的創(chuàng)造性批評解讀指明方向,為演講話語的有效生產(chǎn)實踐提供參考,為其它交際研究提供借鑒,也為寫作與話語分析的教學提供指導。 當然,鑒于我們知識與能力的局限性,本研究不可避免地存在一些不足和缺陷,無論是在深度上還是廣度上都有待進一步改進與完善。
[Abstract]:In order to facilitate the study of these words , we find that the traditional public speeches in these words are mutually agreed upon and achieve temporary agreement . In order to facilitate the study of these words , we find out that they have different symbolic interactions with rhetoric and achieve their own communicative purposes .


There are two main areas : one is rhetoric criticism ; the other is discourse analysis . However , in the aspect of rhetoric criticism , this study summarizes three types of discourse rhetoric criticism based on the relationship between linguistic factors and non - linguistic variables : " speaker - centered " , " ideology or motivation - obsessed " , " effect - driven " , " context - oriented " and " critic ' s decision - type " .


This study attempts to merge and develop the theory and method of rhetoric and linguistics from the angle of symbolic interaction .


From rhetoric , this study absorbs and develops three " dialectical laws " and " arguments " of ancient Greek philosopher sts , " disputed point theory " of ancient Rome Hermagoras and Cicero , as well as the rhetoric situation of contemporary Lloyd Bitzer . It also shows the interaction between " speaker - leading " and " audience - weighted " , and reveals the interaction between " speaker - leading " and " audience - weighted " .


From linguistics , this study draws on the four discourse characteristics of Beaufort and Dressler and develops them into " discourse " according to the characteristics of speech utterance . The purpose and acceptability help people to investigate the interaction of discourse based text , which reflects the purpose of speaker in discourse construction and the symbolic negotiation and compromise of the context . The intertextuality and the intertextuality reflect the interaction between the speaker and the audience around the context , including the selection and construction of the discourse type , the text allusions , the pre - linguistic context and the post context , and the interaction between these contextual factors and discourse construction .


Based on the theory and strategy of linguistics , the theory and strategies of rhetoric are explored in this study , which includes three levels of interaction : context and speaker , context and audience , context and discourse .


In the process of exploring new ways to criticize and interpret speech discourse , this study has found a series of relations , involving speech and rhetoric , speech and linguistics , rhetoric and linguistics , revealing the symbolic interaction nature of speech and the two - way identity essence of rhetoric , exploring the symbolic power relationship between the speaker and the audience , and providing reference for the effective production practice of speech discourse , providing reference for the effective production practice of speech discourse , and providing guidance for the teaching of writing and discourse analysis .


Of course , in view of the limitations of our knowledge and ability , there are some deficiencies and shortcomings in our study , both in depth and in breadth .
