“Premiere”電影海報評選引發(fā)的思考

【摘要】: 正文:信息時代下我們能夠方便地獲取各種資源,其中更快捷的為我們提供信息的載體是以圖像形式存在的。本文基于一次簡單的審美活動而引發(fā)的思考,出發(fā)點是美國最為權威之電影類雜志"Premiere"(意為“首映”)對近一個世紀以來的電影海報所作的評選。在此之中筆者產(chǎn)生了關于海報作品審美以及如何設計謀劃的疑問,諸如“圖像時代下,視覺類的設計是如何被審美的?”、“哪些作品可以獲得好評?”、“評委是如何評判那些作品的?”等,于是研究對象便是這些已經(jīng)光環(huán)加身的電影海報。為能有對比參考,筆者同時還對被評為“最差”的設計對象進行考證,試圖得出更有力的結論。而對其進行研究是因為電影海報的特殊功能性,它兼具廣告與藝術的特質,最能體現(xiàn)平面設計的特征,具有極強的目的性和指向性。所以選定電影海報作為切入點,目的首先是為深入了解其設計背景、表達形式和表現(xiàn)手法,探索更值得我們關注的海報類別;其次是為學習案例海報的設計思想和創(chuàng)意來源,并由此分析其成功的要素,對自己以后的設計提供了借鑒參考的素材。 本文全篇按照“發(fā)現(xiàn)問題-分析問題-解決問題-總結思考”的邏輯思考過程。首先具體分析案例的藝術特征,而后探尋其特征成因和海報的創(chuàng)作背景,其中分析問題的方法不是單純的帶主觀性質的去研究哪一個元素能產(chǎn)生所謂“好”的設計,而是針對一個基本參照物(已經(jīng)被認為是“好”的設計),對它進行客觀的圖像學上的剖析,而后又站在對象之外,對其進行宏觀的比對分析,探索時間因素和文化背景對設計的影響。其中的重要思維方式在于了解領會圖像傳達的意義同時去研究這些意義又是如何在讀者解讀的過程中被耗散的。最后本文從發(fā)展的角度對海報設計的趨勢做出歸納,再結合國內(nèi)電影海報設計的現(xiàn)狀提出了一些可行性建議。
[Abstract]:Text: in the information age, we can obtain all kinds of resources conveniently, among which the carrier which provides us with information more quickly exists in the form of image. Based on a simple aesthetic activity, this paper starts with the selection of the most authoritative American film magazine, Premiere ("premiere"), for nearly a century of movie posters. In this, the author of the poster aesthetic and how to design questions, such as "in the image age, visual design is aesthetic?", "which works can be praised?" "how do the judges judge those works?" So the subject of this study is these halo-filled movie posters. In order to compare and reference, the author also makes textual research on the design object that has been rated as "worst", and tries to draw a more powerful conclusion. The research is due to the special function of the film poster, which has the characteristics of both advertising and art, which can best reflect the characteristics of graphic design, and has a strong purpose and directionality. So the purpose of choosing the film poster as the entry point is to understand the design background, the form of expression and the expression of the poster, and to explore the poster types which are more worthy of our attention, and the second is to study the design ideas and creative sources of the poster of the case study. And from this analysis of the elements of its success, for their future design to provide reference material. This paper follows the logical thinking process of "discovering problem-analyzing problem-solving problem-summing up thinking". First of all, it analyzes the artistic characteristics of the case, and then explores the causes of its characteristics and the background of the poster creation, in which the method of analyzing the problem is not simply subjective to study which element can produce the so-called "good" design. But for a basic reference (already considered a "good" design), to make an objective pictorial analysis of it, and then stand outside the object and make a macro comparative analysis of it. Explore the impact of time and cultural background on design. The important way of thinking is to understand the meaning of image communication and to study how the meaning is dissipated in the process of reading. Finally, this paper summarizes the trend of poster design from the perspective of development, and puts forward some feasible suggestions combined with the present situation of domestic film poster design.
