英國(guó)政府1979年以來(lái)的電影政策

英國(guó)電影對(duì)于世界電影工業(yè)和文化都有著巨大影響。眾多歷史上票房最高的電影都是在英國(guó)攝制的,如哈利·波特和英國(guó)特工007系列電影。本論文主要回答兩個(gè)問(wèn)題:第一,為什么英國(guó)政府要支持電影產(chǎn)業(yè)?第二,為什么國(guó)家支持對(duì)于電影產(chǎn)業(yè)來(lái)說(shuō)是至關(guān)重要的?本論文的創(chuàng)新之處在于,多數(shù)關(guān)于英國(guó)電影的研究集中于特定的影片,電影導(dǎo)演或某個(gè)電影流派,很少有研究電影產(chǎn)業(yè)和政府的電影政策,而本論文從多種來(lái)源如英國(guó)政府部門官方網(wǎng)站和英國(guó)電影學(xué)會(huì)收集一手?jǐn)?shù)據(jù)和文件,并用它們來(lái)分析英國(guó)電影政策在過(guò)去四十年里的長(zhǎng)期發(fā)展走向。自早期二十世紀(jì)三十年代到二十一世紀(jì),對(duì)于英國(guó)電影產(chǎn)業(yè)來(lái)說(shuō),核心問(wèn)題一直是如何與好萊塢電影工業(yè)共存。許多英國(guó)電影生產(chǎn)都依賴于好萊塢的資金支持。英國(guó)電影的發(fā)行和展映市場(chǎng)也被好萊塢公司所控制。政府扶持對(duì)于英國(guó)電影工業(yè)來(lái)說(shuō)至關(guān)重要,主要原因有兩個(gè)。第一,英國(guó)電影工業(yè)一直被好萊塢所壟斷,英國(guó)制片人很難找到電影的發(fā)行商。許多電影即便已經(jīng)制作完成但也從未上映。第二,同好萊塢發(fā)展完善的電影工業(yè)比,英國(guó)的電影生產(chǎn)還處于小作坊式經(jīng)營(yíng)。電影從開(kāi)始拍攝就很難籌集到資金。因此沒(méi)有了政府干預(yù),對(duì)于低成本的英國(guó)國(guó)產(chǎn)片來(lái)說(shuō),同好萊塢票房大...
