【摘要】：電影，自從其17世紀90年代末誕生起，就在美國文化的形成和演變過程中扮演著至關(guān)重要的角色。西部片，作為誕生于美國的獨特的電影類型片，因其幾乎與電影本身一樣長久的歷史，是被學者用來研究美國社會和文化的一種重要媒介。大多數(shù)的西部影片講述的是發(fā)生在19世紀后半葉的美國老西部(西大荒)的故事，此時，美國的西進運動正進行得如火如荼。西部片作為好萊塢電影特殊的類型片，其深層的符號和象征：是關(guān)于美國人開發(fā)西部的史詩般的神化，影片多取材于西部文學和民間傳說，并將文學語言的想象幅度與電影畫面的幻覺幅度結(jié)合起來。西部片的神化，并不是再現(xiàn)歷史的真實寫照，而是創(chuàng)造著一種理想的道德規(guī)范，去反映美國人的民族性格和精神傾向。根據(jù)一項網(wǎng)上調(diào)查，大多數(shù)的美國精英階層和未來領(lǐng)袖都認為構(gòu)建美國精神的民族特性主要有五個方面，，它們分別是：獨立自主、抓住機會、勇于創(chuàng)新、求同存異以及樂善好施。除此之外，其他學者和評論家還歸納出了另外幾個美國的民族特性，例如，敢于冒險、自我主義、心態(tài)開放、崇尚自由等。本文試圖通過分析多部美國西部影片里面的背景、故事、角色、情節(jié)等，來探討這些電影所折射出來的上文所提及的在西進運動中通過開疆拓土所培育出來的美國民族特性，即美國精神。
[Abstract]:Since its birth at the end of 1690s, movies have played a vital role in the formation and evolution of American culture. Western films, as a unique genre of films born in the United States, have played an important role in the formation and evolution of American culture. Because of its almost as long history as the movie itself. Is an important medium used by scholars to study American society and culture. Most western films tell the story of the Old West in the second half of 19th century. The westward movement in the United States is in full swing. As a special type of Hollywood film, the western film is a deep symbol and symbol: the epic deification about the American development of the west. Most of the films are based on western literature and folklore and combine the imaginative range of literary language with the hallucination range of film picture. The deification of western film is not the true portrayal of reproducing history. Instead, it creates an ideal moral code that reflects the national character and spiritual tendencies of Americans, according to an online survey. Most of the American elite and future leaders believe that there are five main aspects to construct the national identity of the American spirit: independence, seizing the opportunity and daring to innovate. In addition to seeking common ground while reserving differences and charity, other scholars and critics have summed up several other national characteristics of the United States, such as risk-taking, egoism, and open-mindedness. This paper tries to analyze the background, story, character, plot and so on in many American western films. This paper discusses the American national character, American spirit, which is reflected in these films and is cultivated through the frontier of Xinjiang in the westward movement.
