【摘要】：本文旨在解構(gòu)兩會記者會口譯員的權(quán)力,探尋話語與交際能否幫助口譯員獲得權(quán)力�？谧g研究一般關(guān)注心理認(rèn)知、語言轉(zhuǎn)換等,但口譯也是一個社會活動,在口譯中,權(quán)力無處不在。本文希望將現(xiàn)有社區(qū)口譯、法庭口譯中對權(quán)力的研究延伸到兩會記者會,避免口譯社會學(xué)研究中數(shù)據(jù)孤立、口譯本體邊緣化的問題,探究中國政治語境下口譯員的社會角色。本文的研究問題是兩會口譯員是否擁有權(quán)力,話語與交際能否幫助他們獲得權(quán)力。結(jié)合定性和定量研究方法,本文建立了2015年兩會記者會交傳、同傳平行語料庫和視頻數(shù)據(jù)庫。從福柯的權(quán)力觀、“言語儀式”理論出發(fā),借鑒了伊恩·梅森與任文2012年對譯員權(quán)力的分類,聚焦譯員的交際性權(quán)力與體制性權(quán)力。通過分析兩會記者會譯員的背景、微觀言語技巧與非言語行為,以及背后的宏觀權(quán)力關(guān)系,本研究發(fā)現(xiàn),譯員可以利用其背景,通過交際中的言語與非言語策略協(xié)商、制衡權(quán)力關(guān)系。具體表現(xiàn)為：1)兩會政府官方口譯員擁有相當(dāng)大的體制性權(quán)力與交際性權(quán)力,并能從二者的互動中獲益,但其權(quán)力受到社會、政治等級體系的制約。2)與官方譯員相比,負(fù)責(zé)兩會同傳的自由譯員幾乎沒有體制性權(quán)力,交際性權(quán)力亦有限,且主要來自于對源語的選擇性遺漏,與通過會議準(zhǔn)備實現(xiàn)的添加、修正等。3)不同模式、場景下,不同譯員的權(quán)力不同。社會交往中的核心元素,如信任、距離、道德等,均會影響權(quán)力關(guān)系。研究結(jié)果表明,口譯活動中的權(quán)力關(guān)系,尤其是譯員的權(quán)力,是由利益相關(guān)方協(xié)商運作的。口譯員并非傳統(tǒng)意義上的“隱身的傳聲筒”,而是口譯這個社會活動的積極參與者、建構(gòu)者。
