【摘要】：教師教學(xué)負(fù)動機作為英語教學(xué)的一個新興議題漸入人們的視野。以往負(fù)動機研究主要關(guān)注學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)負(fù)動機影響因素,對教師教學(xué)負(fù)動機的研究卻寥寥無幾。本研究旨在進(jìn)一步闡述教師教學(xué)負(fù)動機影響因素。在前人負(fù)動機研究的基礎(chǔ)上,本研究著眼于調(diào)查高校教師教學(xué)負(fù)動機影響因素。研究問題如下:導(dǎo)致高校英語教師教學(xué)負(fù)動機的主要因素有哪些?教師教學(xué)負(fù)動機在不同高校間有何異同?本研究以江西省四所省級重點院校的192名大學(xué)英語教師作為研究對象。數(shù)據(jù)收集運用調(diào)查問卷、半結(jié)構(gòu)式訪談這兩種研究工具。研究結(jié)果表明:(1)通過因子分析得出五類負(fù)動機影響因子:學(xué)習(xí)者因素,社會評價,機構(gòu)支持,科研環(huán)境和教學(xué)環(huán)境。其中學(xué)習(xí)者因素居于首位。同時,社會評價因素的呈現(xiàn)有別于西方國家的研究,顯示出文化專有性特征對被試的突出影響。(2)不同類型院校在首要影響因子和相關(guān)題項關(guān)聯(lián)度高低順序中存在差異。(3)訪談進(jìn)一步證實了學(xué)習(xí)者因素是教學(xué)負(fù)動機的主要來源。此外,訪談還發(fā)現(xiàn)女英語老師比男英語老師更易受學(xué)習(xí)者因素的影響。最后,本文為高校英語教師和學(xué)校提出如下教學(xué)方面的啟示,以減少教師教學(xué)負(fù)動機:創(chuàng)建積極的課堂氣氛;建立良好的英語教學(xué)環(huán)境;提供充足的進(jìn)修和培訓(xùn)機會;給予英語教師更多的肯定和贊揚;在科研和教學(xué)間尋求平衡。
