中低英語水平寫作中語言復(fù)雜度的多維度研究

  本研究旨在對二語復(fù)雜度進行多維度探究,在傳統(tǒng)的句法復(fù)雜度和詞匯復(fù)雜度基礎(chǔ)上加入新的復(fù)雜度——詞塊復(fù)雜度,首先探究詞塊復(fù)雜度能否衡量中低二語水平的發(fā)展,然后對句法復(fù)雜度、詞匯復(fù)雜度和詞塊復(fù)雜度三種復(fù)雜度的內(nèi)部構(gòu)念進行深度探究,并比較這些復(fù)雜度指標(biāo)在預(yù)測二語水平時的差異。以往的學(xué)習(xí)者語料庫研究對中低水平學(xué)習(xí)者有所忽視,為了彌補這點,本研究所用語料來自中國中低水平英語學(xué)習(xí)者——浙江省某中學(xué)初高中學(xué)生的322篇限時英語作文?紤]到按年級區(qū)分語言水平不能避免個人差異的影響,本研究對所有作文進行了重新評分并劃分為4個語言水平層次。詞塊的選取上,我們選取了常見的形容詞+名詞和動詞+直接賓語兩種搭配,運用Stanford Parser軟件自建依存樹庫進行詞塊提取,并運用BNC在線語料庫計算詞塊復(fù)雜性,句法復(fù)雜度和詞匯復(fù)雜度分別通過二語句法復(fù)雜度分析器和二語詞匯復(fù)雜度分析器計算。通過數(shù)據(jù)分析和討論,我們得到了以下發(fā)現(xiàn):1)詞塊復(fù)雜度可以衡量二語水平的發(fā)展,但衡量水平取決于詞塊類型。形容詞+名詞的詞塊復(fù)雜度比動詞+直接賓語的詞塊復(fù)雜度在區(qū)分和預(yù)測二語水平方面更勝一籌。2)詞塊復(fù)雜度指標(biāo)根據(jù)不同的詞塊類型測...
