基于3T理論的初中英語語調(diào)教學(xué)實證研究

英語3T理論的框架由韓禮德提出,后經(jīng)韋爾斯發(fā)展完善。他們從音系學(xué)角度描述英語語調(diào),且提出了層次清晰的英語語調(diào)系統(tǒng),由調(diào)群劃分(Tonality),調(diào)核位置(Tonicity)以及聲調(diào)(Tone)組成。本研究旨在發(fā)現(xiàn)結(jié)合英語3T語調(diào)理論的語調(diào)教學(xué)是否有別于傳統(tǒng)單調(diào)的模仿教學(xué),對初中教學(xué)有效。本次教學(xué)實驗為期8周,包含為期6周的語調(diào)教學(xué)以及前后測。研究對象是50名初一年級的學(xué)生,分為實驗組與對照組,且兩組的前測成績未發(fā)現(xiàn)顯著性差異。實驗班語調(diào)教學(xué)涉及英語3T語調(diào)理論的介紹以及應(yīng)用方法。前后測的試卷內(nèi)容分別由4個對話與1篇短文組成。評分參照學(xué)生的調(diào)群劃分、調(diào)核位置、調(diào)型使用以及句重音。語調(diào)教學(xué)開始前,筆者已完成前測數(shù)據(jù)的初步分析,并根據(jù)前測顯示出的語調(diào)問題有針對性地修改教學(xué)計劃。語調(diào)教學(xué)的前四周用于理論講解與語調(diào)特征辨析,后兩周用于實際操練。教學(xué)材料選自七年級上學(xué)期上海版《牛津英語》與韋爾斯的《英語語調(diào)導(dǎo)論》。語調(diào)訓(xùn)練過后,筆者組織后測。在后測中實驗組的分?jǐn)?shù)高于對照組,且兩者平均分有顯著性差異。除了后測分?jǐn)?shù)上的提高,實驗組學(xué)生的語調(diào)模式也顯示出一些改進(jìn)。首先,實驗組學(xué)生的平均語調(diào)長度超過對照...
