中國英語專業(yè)學習者二語寫作多特征多維度的歷時研究

二語寫作不僅是困擾中國英語學習者的一大難題,也是應用語言學領域長期關注的焦點。以往研究常常以寫作文本為切入點,或是橫向對比中國學習者和本族語學生的語言特征,或是縱向比較顯性教學干預前后的學生寫作質量。然而,鮮有研究追蹤中國外語教育不同階段英語學習者的二語寫作語言變化。這一變化一方面能夠反映出處于不同時代的中國外語學習者的語言水平,而且有助于揭示中國外語高等教育改革和教學手段對學生二語寫作能力的反哺影響。本研究選取中國英語學習者英語筆語語料庫(WECCL)和中國學生萬篇英語作文語料庫(TECCL)為語料對象,兩個語料庫分別建于2000年初和2015年,能夠代表橫跨15年的兩代英語學習者。研究采用Biber(1988)的多維度分析(Multidimensional Analysis,MDA)方法,對上述不同年代的中國英語專業(yè)學生二語寫作文本進行多維度對比分析,旨在揭示不同階段的中國英語專業(yè)學習者在語篇、句法和詞匯上的特點并發(fā)掘變化趨勢。本研究嘗試回答以下三個問題:1.兩個不同時代的學生在二語寫作上各呈現(xiàn)什么特點?2.兩個不同時代的學生在多維度因素方面表現(xiàn)出哪些相同點與不同點?3.中國英語專...
