本次翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告所選取的源語文本為Janet M Bennett教授所主編的《跨文化能力百科全書》第44-61頁內(nèi)容。主編Janet M Bennett教授是全球跨文化教育和相關(guān)培訓(xùn)的領(lǐng)軍人物,執(zhí)掌美國跨文化交際學(xué)院,該協(xié)會是一個(gè)私人非營利性基金會,旨在培養(yǎng)人們對國際和國內(nèi)文化差異的認(rèn)識和欣賞!犊缥幕芰Π倏迫珪吩诳缥幕芰跋嚓P(guān)領(lǐng)域內(nèi)縝密的一本資料,是一本在所有學(xué)術(shù)圖書館資料室內(nèi)必備的權(quán)威參考資料。筆者所翻譯的內(nèi)容主要包括與不同背景和歷史的人群之間的跨文化交際以及一些跨文化研究相關(guān)的主要理論知識。根據(jù)紐馬克的文本類型理論,本文屬于信息類文本,旨在傳遞跨文化相關(guān)知識,信息,觀點(diǎn)以及事實(shí),因此文本具有較強(qiáng)的邏輯性,一部分內(nèi)容還具備著專業(yè)性。在翻譯過程中發(fā)現(xiàn)原文包含有較多的詞義延申,長難句以及特殊的文化表達(dá)方式,翻譯過程中采用了語義翻譯和交際翻譯相輔相成的策略,運(yùn)用多種翻譯技巧來試圖解決這些問題以達(dá)到比較理想的翻譯效果。原文與譯文之間也存在著一些句子成分轉(zhuǎn)換,語義表達(dá)延申以及語序結(jié)構(gòu)調(diào)整等變化。在此翻譯報(bào)告中詳細(xì)介紹并分析了一些比較典型的翻譯技巧案例。通過此次翻譯實(shí)踐,譯者希望提高翻譯...
