《威爾士—中國250年交流史》一書介紹了近代以來威爾士人在中國安家的歷史故事,提供威爾士人看待中國的視角等等,翻譯該書有望加強中國和威爾士人民的文化交流。該文本屬于歷史類文本,節(jié)選部分總字?jǐn)?shù)一萬余字。本文討論了歷史類文本中背景知識在翻譯過程中的作用。根據(jù)源語文本的歷史性等特點,筆者具體研究語言圖式、文化圖式、文體圖式中的翻譯,旨在從原文的理解和翻譯過程進行分析,尋找與之相對應(yīng)的翻譯方法。本文分為四個章節(jié)。第一章為任務(wù)描述,包括項目背景、項目介紹、論文結(jié)構(gòu)介紹。第二章介紹翻譯過程,即譯前準(zhǔn)備、譯中過程、譯后校對等。第三章則根據(jù)文本特點,從文化圖式、語言圖式、文體圖式展開分析,試圖找出傳譯這三種圖式的翻譯方法。第四章總結(jié)本翻譯實踐過程中的經(jīng)驗。實踐表明,在翻譯過程中,要充分激活譯者的相關(guān)圖式,而且成功的譯文有賴于譯者激活讀者的相關(guān)圖式。為此目的筆者借助了音譯、加腳注、代詞具體化等相關(guān)翻譯方法,從而在翻譯中成功地傳譯語言圖式、文化圖式和文體圖式。本報告在圖式理論視角下總結(jié)有關(guān)歷史類文本的翻譯策略和技巧,讓譯文更加符合歷史類文本的特點,希冀為相關(guān)領(lǐng)域的歷史類文本提供實踐借鑒。
