本報告是筆者基于科幻小說《警報解除》所完成的一篇翻譯實踐報告。小說的作者是美國著名科幻小說作家康妮·威利斯。本書共有68個章節(jié),筆者受任翻譯第七至九章節(jié)。本書尚無中文譯本。本報告重在探討筆者所譯部分的文本特點(diǎn)、翻譯難點(diǎn)、翻譯過程中翻譯理論的指導(dǎo)、以及所運(yùn)用的翻譯策略和翻譯技巧。在譯前準(zhǔn)備階段,筆者從相關(guān)科學(xué)知識和歷史知識、平行文本閱讀以及翻譯工具三個方面進(jìn)行了準(zhǔn)備,并與其他譯者進(jìn)行了有效溝通,確定了統(tǒng)一的術(shù)語表。翻譯過程中,筆者對文本的特點(diǎn)進(jìn)行了深入分析。文本中含有大量對話、動作描寫以及心理描寫,以此來塑造飽滿的人物形象。為了準(zhǔn)確傳達(dá)原文的意義與風(fēng)格,實現(xiàn)語意連貫,展現(xiàn)飽滿的人物形象,筆者在翻譯過程中以目的論的目的原則、連貫原則和忠實原則為指導(dǎo),在翻譯對話描寫、動作描寫和心理描寫時運(yùn)用了相應(yīng)翻譯策略和翻譯技巧,主要包括直譯和意譯兩種策略,以及分譯法、增譯法、轉(zhuǎn)換法等翻譯技巧。筆者在翻譯過程中獲得了寶貴的經(jīng)驗,對于科幻小說翻譯形成了更深入的認(rèn)識。翻譯科幻小說時,譯者應(yīng)結(jié)合文本特點(diǎn),實現(xiàn)譯文內(nèi)容連貫,語意準(zhǔn)確,同時應(yīng)考慮讀者的喜好以及文化認(rèn)同。筆者希望對此次翻譯實踐的反思在提高自身翻譯水平...
