美國作家威·安·斯旺伯格（W.A.Swanberg）撰寫的人物傳記《德萊塞》（DREISER）記錄了美國現(xiàn)代小說作家西奧多·德萊塞（Theodore Dreiser）生平。全書共六部分,譯者承擔(dān)了該書第一部分的翻譯任務(wù)。第一部分主要講述西奧多·德萊塞的童年時(shí)光。西奧多·德萊塞被譽(yù)為“美國現(xiàn)代小說的先驅(qū)”,他的作品貼近生活,凸顯現(xiàn)實(shí)主義。翻譯這本傳記能讓中文讀者更好地解讀德萊塞的作品以及作品中的現(xiàn)實(shí)主義。英國翻譯理論學(xué)家喬治·斯坦納提出了翻譯四步驟,分別是“信賴”、“入侵”、“吸收”、“補(bǔ)償”。譯者主體性能在四步驟中體現(xiàn)。本次翻譯活動(dòng)中,譯者可從雙語言操作能力,跨文化意識(shí),藝術(shù)再造,美學(xué)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)四個(gè)方面發(fā)揮譯者主體性,從而提高譯文的可讀性。在《德萊塞》翻譯報(bào)告中,譯者將嘗試闡述譯者主體性在翻譯四步驟中的體現(xiàn),通過實(shí)例闡述譯者如何在翻譯過程中發(fā)揮譯者主體性來處理原文本中的敘述視角的翻譯,文化負(fù)載詞的翻譯。并試總結(jié),在理論指導(dǎo)下,在文學(xué)翻譯中選取合適的翻譯策略可以提高文學(xué)翻譯作品的可讀性。該翻譯報(bào)告包含五個(gè)部分。第一個(gè)部分是對此次翻譯內(nèi)容的介紹,包含翻譯的背景和意義,還有翻譯報(bào)告的結(jié)構(gòu)。第二部分...
