本篇學(xué)位論文基于安娜·威爾茲彼卡2006年出版的《英語:意義與文化》第一章和第二章翻譯實踐所撰寫的翻譯實踐報告。《英語:意義與文化》共有九章,作者通過大量的實例論證向讀者闡述“自然語義元語言”理論及“文化腳本”法對語義描述所具有的卓越功能�！队⒄Z:意義與文化》試圖證明基于自然語義元語言的新范式使我們有可能深入探討盎格魯英語中所蘊(yùn)含的文化意義。文中作者闡述了復(fù)雜且具有豐富內(nèi)涵的文化概念、文化關(guān)鍵詞、語言規(guī)約等,并使用大量腳本作為例證對比中西方不同國家人的不同思維的方式。原文語言正式規(guī)范,句子間從屬關(guān)系明確,邏輯性強(qiáng),語篇銜接自然規(guī)范。因此,這本書內(nèi)容的復(fù)雜性和英漢文化、語言之間的差異,給譯者帶來了很大的困難。在本次翻譯實踐中,譯者分別學(xué)術(shù)著作中詞匯的翻譯、學(xué)術(shù)著作寫作特點的翻譯以及語篇銜接的翻譯進(jìn)行分析。為了更好地完成本次翻譯實踐工作,在翻譯過程中,筆者以泰特勒翻譯三原則為指導(dǎo),并采用合適的翻譯技巧（增譯,減譯,轉(zhuǎn)換等）,恰當(dāng)?shù)胤g原文。全文主要分為五個部分,第一部分為翻譯任務(wù)描述,簡要概述了翻譯實踐任務(wù)的背景、翻譯任務(wù)的特點以及翻譯任務(wù)的意義。第二部分為翻譯過程描述,主要介紹翻譯過程,...
