　　《中國(guó)評(píng)論》是一份于清末在香港出版的西方世界第一份真正的漢學(xué)期刊,是西方了解中國(guó)的重要依據(jù),具有重要的史料價(jià)值。該刊中中國(guó)漢語(yǔ)典籍英譯涉及范圍較廣,選取《中國(guó)評(píng)論》中的中國(guó)典籍英譯進(jìn)行比較研究,文本全面,亦具代表性。目前學(xué)術(shù)界對(duì)于《中國(guó)評(píng)論》研究較少,已有研究主要集中對(duì)某一方面進(jìn)行分析,如客家研究、法律文本、漢語(yǔ)語(yǔ)法研究等,而英譯研究主要集中于某一類型如文學(xué)典籍類翻譯研究,還有部分研究統(tǒng)計(jì)了所引漢語(yǔ)典籍,并對(duì)某些方面進(jìn)行較為簡(jiǎn)單的論證或評(píng)述,可見其中刊載的典籍英譯尚有很大研究空間。本研究以描述翻譯學(xué)為理論視角,采用統(tǒng)計(jì)、大數(shù)據(jù)檢索等方法進(jìn)行比較研究,對(duì)漢語(yǔ)典籍英譯情況進(jìn)行描述,考查翻譯目的和制約因素。具體研究步驟包括以下幾個(gè)方面:（1）在《中國(guó)評(píng)論》找出漢語(yǔ)典籍英譯的全部譯文及其相關(guān)信息。（2）分類型、譯者、國(guó)別、時(shí)段、漢語(yǔ)典籍所屬時(shí)代等,進(jìn)行分類統(tǒng)計(jì)。（3）描述分析統(tǒng)計(jì)數(shù)據(jù),就重要原著、知名譯者、數(shù)量較多的翻譯等進(jìn)行描述。（4）考查翻譯選擇背后的翻譯目的和制約因素。研究發(fā)現(xiàn):（1）《中國(guó)評(píng)論》上所譯漢語(yǔ)典籍類型大致可分為詩(shī)歌、小說(shuō)、賦、戲劇、法律、地理史籍、哲學(xué)、歷史、笑話、故事集等...
