委婉語在英語和漢語中都有著悠久的歷史。委婉語的主要心理基礎(chǔ)是禁忌語和禮貌語。在談?wù)撃承┰掝}或使用某些詞匯時,大多數(shù)人都采取不同程度的“回避”形式,以避免引起不快、不滿或傷害感情或關(guān)系的可能性。為了表達思想和交換信息,人們大多會采取迂回曲折的方式,使用一些模糊的或愉快的、禮貌的詞語,這種語言現(xiàn)象就是委婉語。概念整合是心理空間的基本認知運作,它利用網(wǎng)絡(luò)和動態(tài)認知模型來建構(gòu)意義。任何概念的形成都必須經(jīng)過心理空間與輸入信息的整合過程,這也是儲存在人們心理空間中已有信息的激活過程。簡而言之,概念融合可以構(gòu)建相互反映、以多種方式融入新空間網(wǎng)絡(luò)的心理空間網(wǎng)絡(luò)�；谶@一認識,Fauconnier和Turner提出的整合理論的中心是概念整合網(wǎng),即概念整合網(wǎng)絡(luò)。從概念整合角度對死亡委婉語進行分析,可以讓我們對委婉語有進一步的了解,同時更加深刻了解概念整合理論。通過本研究,本論文有如下發(fā)現(xiàn):1.本文以概念整合理論為框架,探究英漢死亡委婉語的語義整合機制,試圖為委婉語的解讀探索一條有效的路徑;2.論文從宗教、軍隊、航海、戲劇、社會階級等多思維代表性的維度,建構(gòu)英漢委婉語的語義整合機制,把無形的語義加工過程有形...
