本次翻譯實(shí)踐的原文選自《日益變暖的地球:氣候變化的來(lái)龍去脈》（第一章至第九章）。該書(shū)由霍頓·米夫林·哈考特出版公司在2016年3月出版,是一本有關(guān)氣候變化的科普書(shū)籍。其作者布里奇·赫奧斯通過(guò)大量的例子、實(shí)驗(yàn)、科學(xué)數(shù)據(jù),主要介紹了全球變暖產(chǎn)生的原因,引發(fā)的后果,以及應(yīng)對(duì)措施。譯者翻譯此書(shū)旨在幫助讀者全面了解氣候變化,引起大家對(duì)全球變暖的關(guān)注。譯者在翻譯中遇到的重難點(diǎn)主要有標(biāo)題翻譯,詞語(yǔ)翻譯（包括專有名詞,專業(yè)術(shù)語(yǔ),新詞和多義詞）,和句子翻譯（包括被動(dòng)句和長(zhǎng)難句）。所以譯者運(yùn)用不同的翻譯方法、策略進(jìn)行處理——標(biāo)題翻譯時(shí),譯者主要用成語(yǔ)和四字短語(yǔ)表達(dá),并且結(jié)合增譯法、減譯法。面對(duì)專有名詞和專業(yè)術(shù)語(yǔ),譯者通過(guò)字典或網(wǎng)絡(luò)選擇約定俗成的譯本,運(yùn)用音譯法、加注法進(jìn)行完善。對(duì)于新詞的處理,譯者分析詞語(yǔ)構(gòu)成以及以前的詞義,并且參考平行文本。至于多義詞,譯者在具體的語(yǔ)境里分析詞性,選擇合適的詞義。被動(dòng)句有兩種譯法,即中文保持被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài),或者轉(zhuǎn)化成主動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)。面對(duì)長(zhǎng)句,譯者先分析句法結(jié)構(gòu),再用順譯法、逆譯法、拆譯法進(jìn)行處理。通過(guò)此次翻譯實(shí)踐,譯者受益匪淺:第一,標(biāo)題、詞語(yǔ)和句子翻譯可以用不同的方法處理。第二,譯...
