隨著我國文化“走出去”戰(zhàn)略的不斷深入,學(xué)習(xí)和利用地道的英文表達(dá)來講好中國故事已變得愈加重要。英譯漢與漢譯英是一個相輔相成的過程,積累和借鑒地道的外語表達(dá)能夠直接提高漢語文學(xué)作品外譯本的傳播。斯蒂芬·羅德里克所寫《神奇的陌生人》,不僅是現(xiàn)代傳記類文章的杰作,也是回憶錄和報告文學(xué)題材深思熟慮的融合。整本書反映了軍隊服務(wù)的意義所在和作者父親對作者的人生軌跡所帶來的深刻影響。原材料是一部出色的當(dāng)代美國文學(xué)作品,且到目前為止尚未被翻譯成中文。因在有限的時間內(nèi)需兼顧翻譯質(zhì)量,為確保故事的相對完整性,筆者在通讀全書之后選取了1-4章進(jìn)行翻譯。該部分內(nèi)容主要交代了全書的故事發(fā)生背景,書中所涉及的主要人物和性格亦能在此部分內(nèi)容中得以了解。通過對該部分內(nèi)容的翻譯,作者發(fā)現(xiàn)了一些在具體的文學(xué)翻譯實踐中需要關(guān)注的地方。本報告主要對一些例子和翻譯策略進(jìn)行了詳細(xì)的分析.筆者結(jié)合理解,表達(dá),取舍的翻譯策略,從譯者和讀者的雙向角度出發(fā)分析探討了該類文學(xué)翻譯中一些需要重點關(guān)注的方面。本翻譯實踐報告能夠為翻譯學(xué)習(xí)者們今后的英譯漢翻譯實踐提供一定的參考經(jīng)驗,引起包括筆者在內(nèi)的翻譯專業(yè)學(xué)生關(guān)于文學(xué)外文的思考。報告中積累的諸多...
