關聯(lián)理論指導下網(wǎng)站旅游文本英譯漢翻譯實踐報告

對于不懂英語的中國人來說,將英語旅游網(wǎng)站上的文章譯為漢語能夠幫助他們獲取更多出國旅游咨詢。本翻譯實踐報告的翻譯材料共有55篇文章,取自加拿大旅游網(wǎng)站“旅游勝地(Well Known Places)”。網(wǎng)站旅游文本信息量大、語言精煉、風格獨特,兼具信息型、呼吁型和表達型文本的功能,翻譯難點主要來自以下三個方面:詞匯層面的專有名詞和文化負載詞翻譯;句法層面的祈使句和名詞化結(jié)構(gòu)翻譯;語篇層面的銜接和連貫。關聯(lián)理論認為翻譯包含雙重明示-推理過程,而譯者的任務是使原文作者的目的與目標讀者的認知語境達到最佳關聯(lián)。因此,以最佳關聯(lián)為目標,譯者從增強語境效果和減少處理努力兩個角度選取翻譯方法克服上述翻譯困難。在增強語境效果方面,為了幫助目標讀者推出語境蘊涵、加強和證實已有假設,譯者采用意譯法和增譯法;為了消除目標讀者的矛盾或錯誤假設,采用意譯法。在減少處理努力方面,詞匯層面針對專有名詞,采用約定俗成、直譯加注法和增譯法,針對文化負載詞,采用直譯或音譯加注法和釋義法;句法層面針對祈使句采用增譯法,針對名詞化結(jié)構(gòu),采用轉(zhuǎn)換法。譯者期望本篇實踐報告能為英語旅游網(wǎng)站文本的漢譯提供參考。
